You will be a key part of Nike’s Digital Transformation initiative to help deliver efficient data access, reliable data warehousing platforms, enhanced compliance and reduced risk. We’re hiring an Information Security Platform Engineer II with talent and persistence who can leverage their existing skills and learn new ones and lead a talented IAM team. This role is part of the Enterprise architecture and developer platform, you will be managing enterprise certificate platform at Nike.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Information Security Platform Engineer II, GAP. This role is part of Global Architecture & PaaS, GAP aggressively innovates solutions to drive growth while creating and implementing tools that help make everything else in the company possible. Along with strong leadership skills, the candidate needs to have a strong understanding of technical concepts, excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and data analysis, strong verbal and written communication skills, and be self-motivated and operates with a high sense of urgency and a high level of integrity.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
You should have extensive experience in many of the specific technical skills we’re looking for and be expert enough to help ramp up others quickly.
Provide L3/L4 technical support to Operations team as required
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Manage and maintain the organization's PKI infrastructure, including certificate authorities (CAs), registration authorities (RAs), and certificate revocation lists (CRLs).
Design, implement, and enforce PKI policies and procedures.
Oversee certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, and revocation.
Automate PKI tasks using scripting and automation tools.
Integrate PKI with other systems and applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve PKI-related issues.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging threats.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure the security of the organization's digital assets
BS/MS in CS, a related field or equivalent experience
Expert knowledge with 3+ years’ experience of Identity and Access Management standards, principles and practices. This should include 3+ years of engineering/development experience in a large scale environment.
Strong understanding of PKI concepts, including X.509 certificates, cryptography, and digital signatures.
Experience with Keyfactor or similar PKI management platforms.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet, Has understanding of deployment pipeline and security
Has exposure and hands on in cloud technologies
Familiarity with ACME protocol for certificate issuance and renewal.
Strong understanding of certificate lifecycle management.
The ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
Proven analytical and problem solving ability
Superior communication, ability to explain complex concepts
Excellent organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to balance and prioritize work
Must be trustworthy in keeping sensitive data confidential
