A background in Finance, Accounting or a related field is a plus
Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Well-organized, communicative, and eager to contribute to team success
Ambitious, autonomous and information seeking attitude
Previous experience and knowledge in SAP and related programs are a plus
Academic, volunteering, or previous internship experiences related to Finance, Accounting or Controlling (if any, please include in your CV)
A passion for the Nike brand and an active interest in sports, fitness, or movement—whether through participating, watching, or simply staying active.
IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST
Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution)
Be available for a 6-month fulltime (40h/weekly) internship starting February 1st, 2026
Be able to work in a hybrid model: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office at our Nike EHQ Campus, Colosseum 1, 1213 Hilversum (NL)
You are currently enrolled in a full-time study program at a Dutch university (HBO or WO level), regardless of your nationality.
You hold EU/EEA citizenship and are enrolled in a university outside the Netherlands.
Please note: Due to legal and immigration requirements, we cannot offer internships to non-EU/EEA students who are not currently enrolled in a Dutch HBO or WO level, in the Netherlands.

Planning
Developing strategic financial plans to drive business growth and profitability across Nike’s EMEA region
Accounting
Ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting, including financial statements, tax fillings and internal controls
Controlling
Analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform business decisions, optimize costs, and drive profitability
Customer Finance
Managing financial relationships with customers, including credit management, invoicing, and collections
Strategic Investments
Identifying and evaluating strategic investment opportunities to drive growth, innovation, and profitability across Nike’s EMEA region
Converse Finance
Managing the financial performance of the Converse brand, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Finance Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial management of Nike’s EMEA region. Depending on the position, previous finance interns have worked on:
Developing and analyzing financial reports to inform business decisions and drive performance management
Supporting the forecasting, budgeting, and KPI planning processes to ensure accurate financial planning
Collaborating with internal customers, such as Sales and Customer Operations, to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Contributing to corporate treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, bank account management, and country risk reporting
Analyzing and reviewing budgets and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to relevant departments
