As Lead Product Supply Chain Manager, based in Bengaluru, India, you will be part of the Global Footwear Manufacturing team, a global organization committed to delivering excellence to our athletes* every day. You will work with Nike stakeholders across the world including Nike Footwear Manufacturing, Sourcing, Responsible Supply Chain, Materials, Government and Public Affairs, Human Resources, Finance and with our factory partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Lead Product Supply Chain Manager who is committed to serving our athletes* and ready to help expand Nike’s manufacturing base with our strategic factory partners. This role will also support the implementation of our local operating model and help drive operational excellence as Nike scales its footwear manufacturing presence in India.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Footwear, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; advanced education is preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in one or more supply chain disciplines, including 3-5 years of managerial experience in footwear or a related industry.

  • Experience leading or managing greenfield manufacturing setup and ramp-up activities.

  • On-the-job experience applying formal project or program management methodologies.

  • Additional experience in Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage.

  • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and factory leadership to drive and implement projects and initiatives.

  • Ability to work across cultures, influence without direct authority, and lead complex conversations with factory and enterprise teams.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and business intelligence or data visualization tools.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As an individual contributor, you will report to the Director, GM Partner Management, Global Footwear India, and collaborate with factory partners and many other Nike stakeholder groups to execute the overall India footwear manufacturing offense. You will be responsible for planning and executing various programs and projects, flexing into key strategic spaces as needed. The key objective for this role is to support Nike’s manufacturing network growth and help drive supply chain resilience and responsiveness.

A typical day/week may include:

  • Vision and Strategy – Work closely with key stakeholders on Nike’s India footwear manufacturing priorities and deliverables, translating them into programs and projects.

  • Planning and Execution - Own defined programs and workstreams, create detailed execution plans, and establish and maintain cross-functional and regional coordination.

  • Project Scope Management – Work with Nike program and project sponsors and factory partners to define project scope, requirements, and goals. Manage scope changes and assess their impact on deliverables as needed.

  • Project Management: Align resources for all projects within the program. Apply project management principles for systematic execution. Escalate issues or risks that impact schedule or performance, with appropriate mitigation plans.

  • Leading Cross-Functional Project Meetings – Track progress and key milestones with a clear agenda and defined outcomes. Maintain responsibility for program and project objectives, ensuring performance and communications are well managed.

  • Project Time Management - Define cadence and project schedules, manage dependencies and task assignments, and track work against schedule.

  • Communication - Craft communications and publish regular program updates for Nike stakeholders and project teams.

Key deliverables over the next 2-3 years:

  • In partnership with cross-functional teams, execute Nike’s India footwear manufacturing strategic priorities for the year ahead.

  • Lead various work streams and projects through cross-functional team offense.

  • Track manufacturing partners’ greenfield projects and ensure they remain on schedule, including ramp-up milestones.

  • Lead and drive ramp-up of existing manufacturing partner setups, including capability additions and further scale.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to serve the India marketplace with supply coverage and support Nike India marketplace expansion plans.

  • Lead and organize business-critical events, summits, workshops, and learning communities to support expansion plans in India.

  • Support operating model evolution in India as Nike expands it manufacturing presence in India.

  • Maintain a timely and regular communication cadence on overall progress.
