WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role sits within NIKE’s global People Analytics & Insights (PAI) team known for its analytical rigor, storytelling excellence, and deep partnership across HR and the global enterprise. The Principal, Employee Listening & Sensing serves as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the Employee Listening function, partners closely across PAI, and collaborates with key partners within HR (e.g., HRBP, Talent COE) and stakeholders outside of HR (e.g., Legal/Privacy, Communications, business units).

You will have:

  • 8+ years in consulting, research, analytics; 5+ years of experience in employee listening, survey research, people analytics, organizational research within large, complex organizations.

  • Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Analytics, or related field. PhD is preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

  • Demonstrated expertise in end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale survey programs, including advanced statistical analysis and mixed‑methods integration.

  • Exceptional ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.

  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

  • Recognized ability to influence senior leaders and drive data‑informed decision‑making.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll lead NIKE’s global employee engagement survey program from strategy through delivery, shaping how employee voice informs decisions across the enterprise. You’ll turn data into insights meaningful storytelling, strengthening the employee voice at scale.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the strategy, design, methodology, sampling, item writing, reporting and dashboards for NIKE’s enterprise‑wide survey programs. 

  • Oversee execution of the global engagement survey, ensuring rigor, quality, and meaningful insights.

  • Integrate quantitative and qualitative data to create holistic, actionable stories that matter to the business.

  • Partner across People Analytics & Insights (PAI), HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Communications, Legal/Privacy, and business units to activate insights and close the feedback loop.

  • Translate complex findings into compelling narratives for senior HR and executive audiences. 

  • Champion employee voice across the enterprise and influence leaders to take insight‑driven action.

  • Identify opportunities to evolve methodologies, strengthen capabilities, and scale innovation in Employee Listening, ensuring deliveries of insights that are tightly linked with business and HR priorities
