WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a strategic Visual Operations expert to lead the coordination and deployment of visual merchandising agency teams across North America retail stores. This role is responsible for ensuring the right talent is deployed to the right locations at the right time, enabling seamless execution aligned to business priorities.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational, budgeting, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while identifying process improvements and new ways of working to support business objectives. Direct experience in retail is not required; however, hands-on experience in retail-focused roles and a strong understanding of retail environments and operations is highly valued. This individual demonstrates excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external agency partners. They will play a key role in cascading information clearly and consistently to maintain brand standards and operational alignment across the fleet. A positive attitude and the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships are essential to success in this role.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Forecast and allocate visual staffing to support seasonal and promotional priorities.

• Build and manage deployment schedules for agency teams supporting store resets and initiatives.

• Act as the primary point of contact for external agencies, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

• Maintain schedule accuracy, including store contacts, scope alignment, and deployment details.

• Own cancellation and redeployment communication with speed and clarity.

• Keep information flowing between internal partners, stores, and agency teams.

• Track timelines, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and solve for impact.

• Partner cross-functionally to align visual execution with marketing and business goals.

• Manage budgets, allocate resources responsibly, and ensure financial accuracy.

• Own purchase order management and communicate status with key partners.

• Collaborate with geo partners to ensure alignment and consistency across regions.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role sits in our Integrated Retail Marketing reporting into the Partner Visual Merchandising Director.  This role works closely with Integrated Retail Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and cross-functional brand partners. The individual collaborates daily with external visual merchandising agencies and store teams, operating within Nike’s matrixed environment to deliver consistent, high-quality retail execution.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3-5+ years of experience in visual merchandising, retail, or brand experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

  • Experience working in wholesale or partner retail environments

  • Strong understanding of retail presentation, storytelling, and the consumer journey.

  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally within a matrixed organization.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience leading visual merchandising across multiple partner accounts.

  • Experience managing agencies or third‑party vendors.

  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.

  • Strong strategic thinking and retail acumen.

  • Proven partner management experience.

  • Demonstrated cross‑functional collaboration and operational excellence.
