Global Jordan Sports Marketing - Service Specialist, Basketball (NBA/WNBA/Grassroots)
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to our Director of Operations, while working across the Jordan matrix. Daily communication with our Jordan Sports Marketing field representatives to help with product selections, brand activations, and overall athlete services will be critical to your success in this role and our success as a team.

As our Jordan Brand Sports Marketing Account Specialist, you'll play a major role in our Sports Marketing and athlete services processes. We will look to your expertise to handle select athletes and team assets while being accountable for the day-to-day service, budget management, product allocations, and delivery of goods! The assets which you'll be directly responsible for will be those with the highest level of visibility and service needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Marketing or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 3+ years’ successful experience in Sports Marketing/marketing or talent/production management function building and demonstrating key relationships to drive business and/marketing strategies highly preferred
- 3+ years' account or project management experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations, including PowerPoint presentations, Excel and MS Office experience, as well as experience with Mac Keynote presentations.
- Proficient in SAP is critical
- Understanding of Jordan Brand products, the apparel product development process, and the sports and fitness industry
- Ability to handle high profile communication and contractual obligations
- Shown ability to effectively manage budgeted product allotment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide range of partners including product engineers, finance, operations, field staff, brand marketing, communications and program administrators
- Ability to prioritize multiple time sensitive (both macro and micro) priorities and communicate bad news when necessary
- Strong attention to detail
- True passion, understanding and interest in professional sports
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
With your advanced knowledge of Nike systems and products, we will look for you to lead the end-to-end contractual obligations with assigned partners. You will be responsible for financial tracking, daily communication to the asset(s), ensuring that Nike's Sports Marketing contractual agreements are satisfied and that the right product is received at the right place, at the right time, and within budget. You'll assist internally with communicating team needs and requirements, feedback, and overall service & relational specifics. In this role, expectations are to ensure logistics and contractual obligations between Nike and professional athletes & teams are met, while ensuring that their product insights and feedback are shared across the variety of functions within Jordan Brand. Additional responsibilities include:
Athlete Service
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Jordan Sports Marketing Representatives and external partners to fulfill all athlete product needs.
• Deliver exceptional, personalized service for Basketball (NBA/WNBA/Grassroots) addressing both on- and off-court requirements.
• Elevate athlete touchpoints by partnering with the Athlete Experience Lead to support key moments in the athlete journey, including product seeding and integration.
Product & Inventory Management
• Product expert in high-visibility events such as the NBA / WNBA All-Star, Jordan Brand Classic.
• Provide white-glove styling and product curation for athletes by collaborating with the Brand and Athlete
• Experience and Lead Service Rep for key brand moments. (Tunnel walks /
• Inventory & ship out all promo product for respective athletes.
Operational Excellence & Systems Management
• Set up and maintain all new accounts within Nike systems, including Aravo and Locker, ensuring accurate and timely data management.
• Manage product orders and maintain accurate forecasting by analyzing trends to inform strategic product buys.
• Track inventory and ensure product distribution aligns with Jordan business strategies and athlete needs.
• Maintain and organize product storage areas (product cages) to enable seamless product access and delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver on athlete x brand or business moments - seeding moments, photo shoot, other
• Proactively identify opportunities for service innovation and resolve challenges with speed and efficiency.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment through strong communication and accountability.
Team
• Represent the Jordan brand through a mindset of excellence, a service-first attitude, and a commitment to connecting athletes to the brand.
