WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a critical art/design member of Nike Sportswear Brand Creative team. You will deliver amazing execution of concepts, visual language and creative thinking along side with internal and external creative partners.

You are a multidisciplinary creative with an interest in working across various mediums including but not limit to Art Direction, Graphic Design, Typography and Video (across platforms). You enjoy collaborating and working within environments where you can learn, be given responsibility and explore creative ideas whilst working against a clear brief. You relish exploring new areas, pushing your thinking to deliver innovative creative.

You have solid ability completing strategic goals per brief and are not afraid to ask questions when things are not clear. You enjoy crafting details from start to finish in the process and proactively look to develop these skills. You have some experience leading your own workstreams and presenting your ideas articulately to partners.

You have a passion for art and design and proactively work to keep abreast of all new trends. You enjoy commissioning external talent and have experience in briefing and critiquing the work of others. You continuously look for new talent/creative partners and work to grow your creative network in all areas. You are excited about new technology and actively work to understand this ever-changing landscape.

You are flexible, critical, fast thinking and an action-oriented team player.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will play a pivotal role in executing and delivering creative across all of our channels, both digital and physical. Working with the team around you to translate briefs and marketing plans into creative concepts that are clearly articulated in mood boards and comps.

You will also need to communicate your concepts to various external and internal audiences. Working closely with the senior creatives, you'll play a part in crafting the future vision of the brand across every consumer touchpoint. You'll work within a team to bring innovative thinking whilst also working with external partners to deliver well-crafted executions, with a good understand of agency/marketing process of assets creation.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role reports directly to the Director of Brand Creative, Nike Sportswear.

Day-to-day you'll work with a team of designers, producers and communication experts. Beyond this core team, you will also work a lot with external creatives - commissioning various work across multiple fields. You'll be required to collaborate with your counterparts across the function teams in brand marketing.

WHAT YOU BRING

•EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or higher degree in art & graphic design or other relevant field

•EXPERIENCE: 7+ years experience in creative industry, editorial, visual/graphic design or art direction. Experience of fashion, lifestyle & luxury brand relevant, either in agency or in-house is a plus. 

•Ability to craft & present new ideas, comprehensive design concepts & executional work in a clear & concise way to small and large groups, including presenting to various internal and external audiences.

•Smooth partnership with external partners on execution: advertising agencies, design agencies, production partners including photographers, producers and project managers.

•A passion and understanding of sport and lifestyle culture in Greater China

•Demonstrates the knowledge of consumer behavior of the youth, current trends in color, technology, communications, experience, art and other design influences.

•Confident working with Adobe Creative Suite & Keynote

•Proficient in Chinese a must, and sufficient in everyday verbal & written English.
