WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As part of Nike’s Planning function, this role reports to the Director of Nike Digital Planning, Korea. The Lead Assortment Planner partners with cross-functional teams including Digital Marketplace (Platform and Growth, SNKRS), Digital Commerce Operations, Digital Marketing, and Marketplace Supply Chain. Collaboration extends to Sport Marketplace Directors and Geo Merchandising and Planning teams in the U.S. to align strategies and deliver financial targets.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is searching for a strategic, analytical leader to define and execute consumer demand strategies for the Nike Digital Owned Channel. The ideal candidate combines sharp business acumen with advanced analytical skills and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They are adept at converting insights into action, influencing stakeholders through compelling, data-driven storytelling, and proactively managing risks and opportunities to maximize revenue, margin, and inventory productivity.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in assortment planning, merchandising planning, retail planning, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros); familiarity with Cognos BI and Tableau preferred
- Strong understanding of retail metrics, consumer behavior, and marketplace dynamics
- Fluency in English and Korean; exceptional communication and storytelling skills
- Experience in digital commerce or store-centric business planning is a plus
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead pre-season style-color depth planning and manage the end-to-end order process, ensuring alignment with seasonal priorities and sport strategic frameworks. You’ll optimize in-season performance through Read & Act processes, analyze business results, and communicate actionable insights to cross-functional teams.

- Drive pre-season style-color depth planning and oversee the full order process
- Align assortment plans with seasonal priorities and sport strategies
- Collaborate with Geo and territory Merchandising, Planning, Sport, and Marketplace teams
- Manage in-season optimization for market health through Read & Act processes
- Recap and analyze business performance, reporting variances with actionable plans
- Communicate financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
- Conduct analysis to determine optimized pricing strategies and inventory movements across marketplaces
