WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The Athlete Service & Training (AST) team exists to elevate the store athlete and leader experience across Nike Direct by strengthening service, selling, and leadership capability at scale. The Lead – Athlete & Leader Curriculum is a senior individual contributor role within AST, responsible for shaping an inclusive, scalable learning ecosystem for store athletes and leaders across EMEA. The role integrates global direction, regional priorities, and field insight.
 

As part of the AST team, the role sits at the center of a broad, matrixed network, partnering closely with:
• Global Service, Selling & Training teams – to align on global frameworks, standards, and learning intent
• EMEA Business Teams – to translate marketplace priorities into relevant athlete and leader learning
• People Solutions – to align curriculum with learning architecture, deployment models, and people processes
• Talent Development – to connect leader curriculum to capability building, progression, and future‑ready leadership
• Field Leaders, Training Captains & Athletes – to gather insight, test learning solutions, and ensure store‑level impact
This role creates clarity, alignment, and momentum across diverse stakeholders.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced contributor who leads complex workstreams, collaborates across functions, and drives results in a matrixed environment. This person:

This person brings:

• Significant experience in learning design, curriculum ownership, or training enablement -ideally in retail, service, or leadership environments
• Strong understanding of Nike Direct environments, athlete experience, and leadership behaviors
• Proven ability to succeed in global and geo‑based matrixed organizations
• Experience owning work end‑to‑end, from strategy and design to deployment and iteration
• Ability to establish governance, ways of working, and decision‑making frameworks
• Strong communication and influencing skills, including comfort engaging senior stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As a Lead within AST, you will own critical learning workstreams with a high degree of independence and accountability.

Store Athlete & Leader Curriculum Ownership
• You will own the end‑to‑end Store Athlete and Leader curriculum for EMEA
• You will ensure alignment to global service, selling, and leadership direction while meeting regional needs
• You will design and evolve learning journeys that build confidence, capability, and consistency across roles and store tiers

Global to EMEA Translation
• You will partner with Global teams to translate frameworks and initiatives into EMEA‑relevant learning solutions
• You will act as the EMEA voice - sharing field insight, gaps, and opportunities to inform global evolution

Stakeholder Leadership & Governance
• You will partner closely with People Solutions and Talent Development to ensure alignment with people and leadership strategies
• You will establish and maintain clear governance, documentation, and operating rhythms
• You will lead working sessions, alignment forums, and stakeholder discussions with clarity and confidence

Deployment & Learning Impact
• You will partner with field and deployment teams to ensure learning lands effectively and is practical for store environments
• You will gather insights and feedback to continuously improve learning quality and relevance
• You will monitor effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative indicators

Continuous Improvement & AST Contribution
• You will contribute to broader AST priorities, tools, and ways of working
• You will identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or scale learning across the region
• You will stay connected to retail, service, and learning best practices
