Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team

NIKE, Inc. does more than outfit the world’s best athletes. It is a place to explore potential, obliterate boundaries and push out the edges of what can be. The company looks for people who can grow, think, dream and create. Its culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding imagination. The brand seeks achievers, leaders and visionaries. At NIKE, Inc. it’s about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.

The Brand Creative team is the voice of the Nike brand. We are creative problem solvers who blend strategy, storytelling, and innovation to shape physical brand experiences that connect athletes* to the future of sport and commerce. As an agile, end-to-end creative offense, we design at the speed of sport, culture, and consumer. Our mission is to amplify and accelerate Nike’s retail storytelling advantage—bringing seasonal campaigns, brand narratives, and disruptive experiences to life across Asia Pacific and Latin America.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Lead Designer for Brand Creative Retail & Experience, someone who elevates how seasonal brand stories come to life inside physical environments. This is not a traditional architectural or store-design role. Instead, we are looking for a creative designer and art director who brings campaigns to life through immersive experiences, consumer journeys, installations, brand activations, and expressive visual storytelling.

You are a conceptual thinker who can turn insight into ideas, ideas into experience principles, and principles into tangible executions. You know how to activate a campaign across multiple touchpoints—from entry moments, windows, and in-store takeovers, to product storytelling, services, digital-physical interactions, and unexpected moments of delight.

You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating across narrative, art direction, brand, retail, and production partners. You balance creativity with clarity—able to inspire teams with big ideas and also lead projects through detailed execution across APLA territories.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Bring seasonal campaigns to life through physical retail experiences, translating global brand stories into regionally relevant executions across APLA.
  • Design consumer journeys and activation concepts that connect storytelling, product, services, and culture—crafting immersive moments, in-store takeovers, event activations, and experiential installations.
  • Create high-quality design deliverables across campaign toolkits, windows, storytelling systems, visual merchandising concepts, materials exploration, and branded retail experiences.
  • Prototype and experiment, bringing new thinking, inspiration, and emerging creative tools (including generative AI) into the work.
  • Collaborate across multiple creative disciplines—Narrative, Art Direction, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Production—to ensure alignment of creative intent and execution quality.
  • Build and present compelling creative decks that communicate concept, narrative, design intent, and consumer impact to creative leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Maintain creative excellence in execution, ensuring outputs are on brand, on strategy, and scalable for multiple store formats and territories.
  • Shepherd projects end-to-end, from concepting and storytelling through design development, vendor handoff, production oversight, and in-market implementation.
  • Bring new cultural references, design inspiration, and competitive insights to the studio—strengthening seasonal concepts and fueling innovative thinking.
  • You may travel 5–15% of the time.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Reporting to the APLA Creative Director, you will play a key role in crafting and activating seasonal brand stories across Nike retail. You will work closely with Brand Creative partners focused on Narrative, Copy, and Art Direction, as well as cross-functional partners in Brand Marketing, Nike Direct, Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, and external agencies.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple territories, ensuring that seasonal concepts translate into powerful, consistent, and culturally relevant experiences in APLA stores.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum of 8 years of design experience, preferably in experiential, brand activation, retail storytelling, or integrated campaign environments. International experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, graphic design, environmental design, experience design, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Demonstrated mastery of storytelling through physical experiences—including campaign activation, spatial narratives, installations, or brand experiences.
  • Strong skills in creative concepting, visual communication, art direction, and design systems, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and generative AI image-making.
  • Ability to sketch, visualize, and articulate ideas across concept, consumer journey, and execution.
  • Experience working with retail environments, brand campaigns, or experiential programs, and an understanding of how physical spaces impact consumer experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate creative intent and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience sourcing, managing, and directing external vendors, design studios, and production partners across territories.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and self-driven working style—the ability to lead projects independently, bring clarity to ambiguity, and deliver against creative intent and business goals.
