The North America Women's Running & Training team is looking for a Lead, Brand Creative Narrative, to join the team in Los Angeles!
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Drive complex workstreams independently and direct others in order to develop well-crafted narrative and ideas.
Drive and deliver end-to-end creative concepts across product launches, brand stories, campaigns, and consumer activations, working from strategy through concept and finishing with premium executions across channels.
Work with a multidisciplinary team, playing a pivotal role in executing and delivering creative storytelling across every consumer touchpoint.
Translate briefs and marketing plans into big, simple, emotive ideas and innovative stories.
Lead workstreams independently, developing and crafting innovative creative concepts for North America Women's Performance campaigns.
Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media and technology as relevant to Nike and the North America Women's Performance team.
Work across multiple projects, requiring careful planning and management of schedule.
Communicate concepts to various internal and external audiences, tailoring presentations to successfully convey the creative vision.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will partner with the Creative Director, your North America Women's Performance Creative Studio teammates, the Global Creative team, Brand and Social teams, the Content Production team, and Brand team.
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum 5-7 years creative experience in advertising agency, editorial, or in-house brand creative team.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Creative Writing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
A passion for the Athlete*, Sport* and Culture with an obsession with an obsession in Running & Training.
A strong connection culture sharp focus in Gen Z interests, language, and trends.
A positive mentality with proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.
Laser-sharp focus to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Strong time management to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously.
Strong portfolio of brand storytelling displaying insight-driven work, critical thinking, a distinctive voice, an outstanding eye for detail, and a high taste level.
Eagerness to create ideas that cut through the media clutter, building upon Nike’s rich history of industry-defining work.
Skilled and experienced in innovative storytelling (headlines, manifesti, long copy, short copy, scripts) across multiple platforms (social, digital, experiences, OOH, and film) and for a wide spectrum of audiences.
Dedication to research and transforming brand strategies into creative strategies.
Experience managing creative, design and production partners, as well as internal stakeholders to deliver the highest caliber work.
Entrepreneurial spirit with proactive approach to identifying and acting on ways to improve the work, continually pushing the vision forward.
Proven ability to lead across advertising and storytelling, with a focus on Youth and Lifestyle Culture, preferably within the footwear, apparel, or sport industries.
A network of trusted freelance writers who can support on bigger projects.
A skillful balance of creativity and organization, with a team player mentality.
Strong leadership skills with an ability to mentor and guide more junior team members, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
Excellent presentation skills with an ability to articulate ideas to senior leaders with precision and confidence; adept at communicating and defending creative work.
