In this role, you’ll lead the development and roll-up of multi-season fiscal and inventory plans across the total geo, integrating marketplace and consumer plans to deliver aligned financial targets.
You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You understand the dynamics of product, inventory, and consumer demand, and can guide planning decisions that balance financial objectives with marketplace health. You’re a natural collaborator who builds trust across functions and drives clarity through storytelling and data.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You’ll be responsible for building and managing end-to-end Merchandise Financial Plans across the geo, partnering across functions to align top-down targets with bottoms-up inputs. You’ll also play a key role in developing and evolving the MFP process, ensuring consistency and rigor across planning cycles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading pre- and in-season financial planning (Revenue, Margin, Inventory) across the geo to inform forecasts and inventory strategies.
- Rolling up marketplace and consumer plans to deliver a cohesive financial view for NA.
- Shepherding monthly MFP submissions, coordinating across cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate inputs.
- Reconciling assortment plans with financial targets to align with consumer architecture and strategic priorities.
- Identifying and driving cross-MPU trade-offs to optimize demand, margin, and inventory health.
- Guiding strategic outlooks for multi-season fiscal shape and scenario planning.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You’ll work across the Nike DSM function and broader cross-functional teams including Marketplace/MPUs, Planning, S&IP, EBP, Location Planning, and Finance. You’ll be a central partner in aligning financial targets and driving planning excellence across the geo.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
- 4+ years of experience in retail or merchandise planning.
- Strong understanding of retail metrics (Sales, ST%, WOS, Inventory, Revenue, Margin).
- Ability to synthesize market data and assess risk to deliver business results.
- Elevated storytelling and communication skills to translate numbers into insights.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
