WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Lead, Construction & Facilities Operations is part of the Nike Asia Pacific / Latin America (APLA) team. This role supports the Senior Construction Manager and all construction territory teams by coordinating information, maintaining standard tools and reporting, and enabling consistent execution of construction, facilities, and fixture programs across regions.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This individual will help support both the Store Construction and Facilities teams, but more specifically will directly support our APLA strategic priorities by setting up all new projects for success from the start.

A successful Lead would be organized, highly skilled in MS Excel with a Finance background, multi-tasker, detail oriented, and ability to partner with our extended territory team members. This person will need to be an optimistic, enthusiastic employee that welcomes change, is flexible, knows how to prioritize work, and understands deadlines, and can deliver information to others when not always welcomed.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Deliver and maintain world-class Nike Retail environments for consumers and store teams while protecting the future of sport. This role ensures store environments, assets, and operations are maintained at optimal conditions with minimal disruption to the business, while supporting fleet expansion through new store openings, remodels, relocations, and closures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide GEO‑level (APLA) support to territories executing construction, facilities, and fixture programs, helping ensure alignment with established standards and processes
  • Assist with coordination between APLA leadership and territory teams, supporting communication, issue tracking, and follow‑ups
  • Support construction and facilities project tracking by maintaining schedules, milestone updates, and basic portfolio‑level reports
  • Help territories use standard construction, facilities, and fixture tools, templates, and playbooks
  • Assist with fixture program coordination, concept development of new systems, as well as vendor onboarding and engineering of new fixture systems
  • Maintain trackers and documentation related to construction, facilities, and fixture program status, costs, and key milestones
  • Support project budget tracking for New Stores and Remodels, including documenting financial status at the project level
  • Assist with maintaining project cost data in GEO systems and databases to support reliable construction cost reporting and cost guardrails across geographies
  • Support coordination with territory stakeholders, Real Estate, and Finance to collect and document project cost inputs and models prior to governance reviews
  • Assist with vendor setup, purchase order creation, invoice tracking, and related documentation in Coupa, in alignment with established processes
  • Assist with collecting and organizing data related to budgets, schedules, risks, and performance metrics for reporting purposes
  • Support facilities management activities such as maintenance tracking, asset data collection, and service performance reporting
  • Assist with coordination involving vendors and service providers in alignment with preferred agreements and processes
  • Support cross‑territory collaboration by capturing lessons learned and maintaining shared reference materials
  • Escalate issues, risks, or dependencies to senior team members and support resolution tracking

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
  • At least 2 years of previous experience as a quantity surveyor, construction supervisor, project management, or other experience in related fields
  • Prior experience in a retail corporate, multi-cultural organization is preferred
  • Understanding of contracts; financial reports experience is a must
  • Computer proficiency: excellent knowledge of MS Excel is required; basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Smartsheet is required; Airtable experience is nice-to-have
  • Must possess organizational, communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work with and through others to ensure that the desired results from the implementation of projects
