WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive experience in footwear development across the product creation process, from concept through production.
- Deep knowledge of upper and bottom construction, lasts, patterns, molds, materials, costing, manufacturing, and quality standards.
- Experience working with Italian footwear factories and methods of make.
- Proven ability to serve as a technical resource, mentor teammates, and positively influence cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and familiarity with CAD pattern design software.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Lead assigned footwear styles through all stages of the product creation process, from concept to production.
- Provide technical recommendations that balance design intent, manufacturing feasibility, cost, quality, and performance requirements.
- Review prototypes and samples, identifying opportunities to improve craftsmanship, construction, fit, and manufacturability.
- Anticipate potential quality or manufacturing risks and influence partners to implement solutions before prototype creation.
- Track development milestones, manage calendars, and ensure deadlines and key gates are met.
- Mentor Product Footwear Developers and serve as a trusted technical resource for cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with factory partners and internal teams to implement product innovations that elevate product quality, consumer value, and brand impact.
