Job Description: Lead, Digital Operations, Nike Digital

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As the Lead, Digital Operations, you'll be part of the team focused on driving the Nike Digital business for Canada, collaborating with teams across business and technology to drive an operationally-centered mindset, as a mechanism for delivering premium digital experiences to our consumers.

You will be the 'glue' between Site Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Consumer Services, Digital Marketing and IT Production Support teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

On the Nike Direct Digital Commerce, Digital Operations Team, we bring the most distinctive Nike consumer experiences to life across all our digital channels. We are critical to ensuring the smooth running of our digital properties, from managing our product catalog, to localizing and launching content, as well as bringing new capabilities to life. We obsess how Nike shows up online and getting product in front of the consumer when they want it, where they want it and how they want it.

As a Lead in this key operational function, we are seeking a strong team player with deep technical commerce experience to provide immediate impact to a fast-growing business.

The main goal of this role is to support the seasonal product readiness and daily site operations. This candidate needs to have a self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership, together with a keen focus on the value of end-to-end consumer experience. Proven experience driving process excellence throughout organizations is highly valued, with the ability to influence across teams and colleagues that span multiple functions and lines of reporting. The candidate we are looking for is passionate about constantly finding ways to make things run better, faster.

Other qualification requirements include:    

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in an e-commerce environment launching products and content, working with user experience teams is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and cross-functional project leadership skills with proven ability to juggle between the details and big picture, manage multiple and competing projects and priorities
  • Ability to drive a culture of always-on testing and learning, and continuous process improvement
  • Known for working both independently and in a team environment to develop hypotheses and make recommendations – sometimes without all the facts - to a broad audience required
  • Proven ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will be managing day to day site operations. This includes activities like product setup, product activation and product launches. You will assist in pricing production and validation. You will be asked to provide regular updates on product launches, issue updates etc.

You will also proactively monitor and troubleshoot technical website issues and product attribution related issues by reaching out to the support teams. You will own all tech incidents and resolution.

You’ll become a technical expert in the Nike Digital tools. At the end of the day, we want you to bring a great consumer experience to life on our digital experiences in Canada.
