The AIC Advanced Digital Creation Studio team provides a competitive advantage by leveraging the power of modern technologies, methodologies, skills, and services to fuel advanced athlete insights, product innovation, and craft. We seek to identify and accelerate new digital approaches to generating athlete insights, designing innovative products, and leveraging advanced manufacturing methods to create compelling consumer product and services.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The business Lead Process Manager works across the Advanced Innovation Collective (AIC) product and athlete teams, connecting with key internal and external partners to research, develop, and deliver digital workflows and prototype concepts.
You will collaborate with digital solutions experts in user experience, software development, advanced design and 3D modeling, data and machine learning, and integrated workflows/pipeline to conceptualize, prototype, and validate high value digital solutions. You will partner with members of the user communities in athlete research, design, materials, engineering and manufacturing to understand their needs / jobs to be done and explore new digitally connected workflows that address the needs
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are hiring for multiple positions on the Advanced Innovation team. We are seeking a Lead Process Manager who has strong expertise in leading complex digital and data projects and developing creative solutions to help teams evolve the way that they work.
As part of the innovation team, the Lead Process Manager will utilize their expertise and knowledge to understand complex issues, simplifying this information into recommendations for cross functional and senior leadership audiences. This role will drive collaboration with highly technical teams as well as creative experts to explore new process and technology solutions that revolutionize the way that we work.
The ideal candidate has a comfort working flexibly through ambiguity. They have a strategic mindset and deep expertise in understanding users, workflow design, data management and in developing digital solutions. They have demonstrated experience and a solid understanding of modern product creation and/or athlete research They have demonstrated an ability to apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a collaborative setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
Professional experience in digital product management, data management or business analysis
Proven track record of managing prototyping or other early-stage digital solution development
Strong foundation in data and data-driven processes and an understanding of data modeling, governance, and metadata
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
Experience with product design or product creation is desirable
Experience with athlete research is desirable
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a business Lead Process Manager, you will embed with other business users in product innovation and athlete research to understand and document their processes and co-create new digital processes that help to alleviate pain points and modernize the way that they work. You’ll partner with user-centered design and software development teams to rapidly prototype data-driven digital workflows and drive towards process and technology change. You’ll play a key role in driving alignment among diverse stakeholders and defining project scope, requirements and success metrics. You’ll use advanced communication and storytelling skills to drive clarity and understanding of the work.
Leads the implementation proof of concepts & pilots to prove plausibility of technology innovation and demonstrate the business value, including defining project scope, requirements and success metrics.
Manages day-to-day relationships with stakeholders, technical teams and external development partners
Understands how stakeholders work and educates and trains on new tools and processes.
Collaborates with partners and sponsors to drive towards process and technology change, utilizing a user-centric research process.
Advocate the importance of data management and governance processes and encourage their adoption across various business units.
