Lead Engineer - Nike Inc.- Beaverton, OR. Provide hands-on leadership in delivering scalable and creative Big Data solutions to support the Nike business; plan and implement parallel processing technologies, advanced analytics, machine learning and deep learning techniques to support and accelerate new and evolving analytic solutions; serve as an authority to actively identify and solve critical, complex, high business-impact problems through new and improved application of technology for analytics solutions; work with key internal partners to define requirements, guide solutions and architectural vision, and prioritize team effort; lead and monitor cross-functional teams to deliver against a backlog established and groomed in partnership with business owner; and help elevate the team’s data engineering practices through education, coaching and enforcement of best practices. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

Must have a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering and 2 years of experience in the position offered or in a engineering-related occupation. Experience must include: 

 

AWS Cloud computing 

Databricks 

Python 

SQL 

Snowflake 

CI/CD using Jenkins 

Source code management using GitHub 

Supply chain management 

Airflow 

Data Warehousing 

Test automation and observability 

Software test management using JIRA and ALM QC
