Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a seasoned event professional to lead and manage high-level events at Nike’s PHK campus. As the primary client-facing contact, you'll cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and oversee all aspects of event execution. Your expertise will drive long-term planning aligned with partner program schedules, space requirements, and logistical needs. The right candidate is calm under pressure, communicates with clarity, demonstrates ownership, and excels at project management and problem-solving. Flexibility is key, this role may require early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
What You’ll Do
Lead the planning and execution of high-level events at PHK, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and business functions.
Own event program budgets, tracking spend at event and program levels, and ensuring accurate forecasting.
Partner with stakeholders to assess event needs and ensure work orders are prepared and fulfilled.
Direct Events team members, aligning resources and clarifying roles and responsibilities.
Serve as the onsite point of contact, confirming all event requirements and resolving last-minute issues.
Maintain event documentation, including attendee counts, catering totals, and other updates.
Collaborate to support event safety and risk mitigation.
Manage special requests and ensure readiness of equipment and spaces for meetings.
Source and oversee off-campus elements such as hotel accommodation, transportation, group dining, and team-building activities.
Respond effectively to changes in event scope and requirements.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll coordinate closely with the PHK Events team, suppliers, and PHK-based business functions, ensuring seamless logistics and operational alignment for every event.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in professional meeting planning or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a solution-driven approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with agility and composure under pressure.
- Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ownership mindset and proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise platforms (Momentus, CVENT, Slack, Box).
