WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role reports to Finance Director, Margin management. You will be partnering with financial planning teams (Consumer, Nike direct, marketplace, supply chain), controlling and global revenues and margin team. 


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Lead, EMEA Finance Margin Management, with expertise in FP&A, margin management and financial close, forecast and long-term cycles, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Performance Management. This person will play a critical role in leading EMEA margin management planning processes, integrating Nike Direct, NMP, consumer and supply chain Plans. 


We are seeking a team player, who embraces transformational initiatives, drives organizational change and operates effectively while leading the way through ambiguity.

 

  • Extensive experience in Financial planning within multinational consumer goods or retail environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Planning, Budgeting, Revenue & Margin Management, Financial modelling and Profit analysis.
  • Skilled communicator with experience forming alliances and bringing together multiple stakeholders to execute on a common mission. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced strategic mindset, understanding the levers necessary to drive long-term profitable growth.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Proven track record to operate successfully in ambiguous situations and drive clarity while leading multiple competing priorities.
  • Positive energy, confidence, integrity, transparency and ability to instill trust.
  • Experience with S4 Hana and Anaplan is highly valued.


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Finance Margin Lead, you will work collaboratively with the team to manage in‑season and long‑term margin financial plans. In this role, you will help guide the team’s efforts, drive cross‑functional alignment, and support business partners in identifying and evaluating risks and opportunities across the EMEA portfolio.

  • Lead GPM planning for both in‑season and long‑term cycles across EMEA, driving alignment on key drivers, variance insights, and risks & opportunities across channels.
  • Provide full GPM visibility by channel, franchise, and product, delivering clear performance insights and recommendations to enhance product profitability and margin outcomes.
  • Shape margin and pricing strategy for EMEA, including assessing pricing impacts, partnering with Consumer Finance on long‑term profitable pricing decisions, and steering alignment with the Global team on GPM drivers and macro‑outlook insights.
  • Build scenarios to deliver the financial forecast in alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Champion finance transformation for margin management, including Anaplan, SEC, and Finsight reporting.
  • Supports FP&A deliverables for month‑end close, CFO reviews, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.
  • Actively interpret financial results; use trends and macro insights to support key planning assumptions with meaningful guidance.
