WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Lead, Finance Operations Delivery with a Six Sigma Black Belt to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across our global finance operations. This role will focus on optimizing end-to-end finance processes, enhancing quality, efficiency, and compliance, and delivering measurable business value.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
·Lead and execute cross-functional process improvement projects within global finance operations.
·Identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities for process optimization, automation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
·Facilitate root cause analysis, E2E process mapping, and solution design workshops with finance teams and stakeholders.
·Develop and deliver training on process improvement tools, Lean Six Sigma, and best practices to finance staff.
·Track, measure, and report project progress, benefits realization, and outcomes to finance leadership.
·Collaborate with global and regional finance teams to ensure alignment of improvement initiatives with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
·Standardize and document best practices, ensuring sustainability and scalability of improvements.
·Support change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes and technologies.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Lead, Finance Operations Delivery will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders across Nike’s global finance organization. This includes collaborating with Global Process Delivery teams, Technology enablement team, Finance Transformation teams, and Global Process Owners such as Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay. The role also involves partnering with regional and local finance operations teams, financial audit and compliance teams, as well as external consultants and managed service providers. Through these cross-functional relationships, the Lead, Finance Operations Delivery ensures that process improvement initiatives are aligned with business objectives, technology capabilities, and compliance requirements, driving operational excellence throughout the organization.
WHAT YOU BRING
·Experience in global finance operations, shared services, or business process outsourcing (BPO).
·Knowledge of finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, S/4HANA) and process automation tools (e.g., RPA, workflow automation).
·Familiarity with data analytics and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
·Additional certifications in Lean, PMP, or related methodologies are a plus.
·Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training. (Master’s preferred).
·Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required).
·6+ years of experience in process improvement, finance operations, or related roles in a global environment.
·Demonstrated success leading Lean Six Sigma projects in finance or shared services.
·Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
·Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
·Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement in a global matrix organization.
