WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


We are seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to guide the Innovation Intelligence team. As the leader of Nike’s Global Intelligence Innovation team, you will drive the evolution of our intelligence capabilities, with primary ownership of our geospatial system (ESRI ArcGIS) and responsibility for advancing the team’s technical and analytical excellence. You will champion the integration of cutting-edge intelligence solutions, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for delivering innovative intelligence and geospatial solutions.

  • Oversee the architecture, deployment, and optimization of ESRI ArcGIS and related geospatial platforms, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure systems.

  • Drive the development and implementation of advanced intelligence capabilities, including spatial analytics and the collection, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence.

  • Collaborate with Nike Technology teams to ensure seamless integration of intelligence systems with enterprise infrastructure.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to identify intelligence requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver actionable results.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of documentation, SOPs, and best practices for geospatial and intelligence operations.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, geography, analytics, data science, business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, 
    experience or training.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in geospatial intelligence, analytics, data science, or location intelligence, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

  • Deep expertise in ESRI ArcGIS (Enterprise and Online), including system administration, application development, and integration with other platforms.

  • Strong technical proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and experience with data blending, ETL, and advanced analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau).

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in the development and deployment of innovative intelligence solutions.

  • Proven ability to manage large, complex projects and datasets, delivering scalable, repeatable results that exceed expectations.

  • Experience with project and program management, including Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and GitHub.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic thinking combined with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving organizational impact.

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, occasionally outside of normal business hours as needed.
