WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

NIKE’s Marketplace Investigations Team (MPI), is focused on addressing organized theft networks targeting NIKE's supply chain, factory partners, and marketplace. This role reports to the Director, Marketplace Investigations, and partners closely with Brand Protection, Grey Market Management, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain Security, Product Design, law enforcement, large customer accounts, and other areas of the NIKE organization as needed.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

NIKE is looking for a highly motivated, analytically minded investigator who feels adept at using technology and NIKE’s data systems to work through large datasets with a goal of highlighting links between many different evidentiary points. The ideal candidate should bring strong investigative judgment, sound decision-making under pressure, and the ability to synthesize intelligence across regions and functions to drive coordinated action. This person must be comfortable leading complex, sensitive matters that may involve supply chain theft, product confidentiality concerns, internal threat considerations, and external organized crime activity. Success in the role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, disciplined case management, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with law enforcement and internal stakeholders while protecting NIKE's legal, financial, and reputational interests.

  • Demonstrated 5 years’ experience leading complex investigations, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain operation, rules of evidence, and data analytics.
  • Ability to synthesize intelligence quickly, make sound decisions during time-sensitive incidents, and operate effectively during after-hours response activity.
  • Strong partnership skills across law enforcement and cross-functional teams, including Brand Protection, Grey Market Management, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain Security, and Product Design.
  • Excellent communication, case management, and operational coordination skills in a fast-paced environment with high reputational and evidentiary stakes.
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business, supply chain, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will help propel investigative capacity at NIKE’s Phillip H. Knight Campus by coordinating complex, multi-region investigations, supporting your investigative colleagues in time-sensitive incident response, and strengthening NIKE's ability to protect its supply chain, product integrity, and marketplace posture against organized theft networks.

  • Establish centralized coordination of multi-region investigations and intelligence activity.
  • Provide real-time response coverage for high-risk supply chain incidents, at times including overnight/weekend events and related escalations.
  • Partner with law enforcement during off-hours product recoveries, search warrants, and other events.
  • Lead MPI’s operational synchronization across Brand Protection, Grey Market Management, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain Security, and Product Design.
  • Provide continuity during MPI Director absences across critical initiatives, including longer term projects and marketplace security enhancements.
  • Deliver on-the-ground investigative support during major recoveries, theft events, and other high-consequence incidents.
  • Support investigations involving both internal threat and external organized crime components while helping protect NIKE from financial, legal, and reputational risk
