WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a critical team member of the Global Places and Services (GPS) team in our European Head Quarters (EHQ), you will be reporting directly to the Principal, EHQ Global Places and Services (GPS). This lead role is based at our Nike European Headquarters in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Besides the EHQ team, you will also consult the GPS teams across the EMEA region in relation to building operations and will work closely with our Strategic Partners responsible for Projects, Technical Maintenance, Real Estate, as well as with Property Management companies.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You steward Real Estate and Integrated Facility Management at EHQ. This role demands a proactive leader, capable of implementing and coordinating operational EMEA and Global frameworks and processes across various teams to ensure peak operational performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
We are looking for a driven and experienced professional with a proven ability to manage complex operations and facilities while delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong blend of stakeholder management and operational expertise in technical management, with the ability to manage both high-level initiatives and day-to-day functions effectively.
The candidate requirements:
Proven experience in workplace facilities management and real estate operations within a global or multi-site organization.
Demonstrated ability to support in the planning and execution of large-scale projects, optimize operational processes, and implementation of GPS strategies and priorities.
Facility Management: Proven technical management experience within the workplace, including renovations, maintenance, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Vendor Management: Experience in vendor and contract management, assessing vendor performance, and building strong vendor relationships.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving collaboration, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage relationships across multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to analyze technical systems and implement efficient solutions while managing budgets and resources effectively.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
This position offers a unique opportunity to impact Nike’s strategic (work)place operations significantly and drive innovation in operational excellence. On behalf of GPS, you steward Real Estate and IFM (Hard Service) at EHQ.
You will lead a comprehensive suite of responsibilities designed to optimize the functionality and efficiency of our EHQ building operations:
Lead a team of strategic partner professionals as well as 3P, provide direction and support, to ensure the team is meeting performance expectations and drive most value for Nike through the lens of Business Continuity, Health & Safety and Duty of Care.
Manage the EHQ long term Strategic Maintenance Plan for Technical Assets, Electrical Installation and Building Infrastructural services through our Strategic Partners and Building Management companies.
Support and collaborate with large-scale maintenance projects, renovations, and facility management projects to ensure up-to-date and compliant operations.
Setup handover procedures to bring construction projects back into daily operational maintenance.
Ensure vendor contract management rhythm of the business activities including on-site audits as well as financial and performance management through well-defined Taxonomy and KPI’s.
Ensure comprehensive documentation and reporting across all building management operational facets, including but not limited to permits, certificates, asset and system demarcation list.
Support the team with Strategic Space Planning activities.
Implement new processes and programs related to building operations to increase efficiency and overall value to the organization.
Support all efforts to make the workplace even more sustainable, minimizing Nike’s environmental impact and to achieve Nike´s purpose targets.
