The Energy Marketplace is the last mile — a source of discovery and connection, responsible for delivering on the promise and intent of Energy ambitions. To be successful, the Energy Sales Team is both visionary and grounded in operational excellence and cross‑functional collaboration.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role reports directly into Global Energy, SSD. Day‑to‑day, you will operate as part of a cross‑functional squad reporting to the sub‑brand GM. You will partner with teams both within and outside the Energy business, across Global and our Geos. Partners include, but are not limited to:
External partners — Collaborators and Retailers
Internal partners — Energy Sales, City Specialty / Style Specialty / Athletic Specialty Sales, Nike Direct / SNKRS, Sales Operations, Brand, Product, Merchandising, DSM/Planning, Business Integration, and more.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead the Sales strategy and execution for a new sub‑label within the Energy offense. You will own the distribution strategy and ensure key sub‑label initiatives land in the marketplace season over season, with a particular focus on work that ladders into priority sport moments and signature footwear launches.
You will serve as the marketplace lead for all sub‑label projects and act as the voice of the Global Marketplace in conversations with external collaborators, internal cross‑functional partners, and during key CODE gates. You will collaborate with Geo and Global partners to:
Build forecasts and targets
Develop distribution intent, allocations, and business plans
Secure and place partner orders
Manage product tracking and launch date setting
Define and deliver success metrics
Navigate operational challenges to ensure project delivery
This role works end‑to‑end across the entire process to ensure the marketplace vision is delivered as planned.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a candidate with Energy Sales experience and experience across Sportswear Specialty or Athletic Specialty channels at both the Global and Geo level.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
5+ years in Marketplace Strategy, External Partnerships, Allocation Management, and Growth Planning
Sales & Marketplace Expertise — Deep understanding of Energy launches, allocations, Marketplace channels, and the CODE process
Relationship Building — Strong cross‑functional influence, trusted partner to collaborators and retailers, skilled communicator
Agility & Adaptability — Operates confidently in ambiguity, shifts priorities quickly, proactive and forward‑thinking
Creative Problem Solving — Identifies opportunities, resolves complex issues, delivers solutions under constraints
Business Acumen — Balances strategy and execution, strong analytical and decision‑making skills, synthesizes complex information
