WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

The Global Women’s & Women’s Led Concept team is responsible for leading our Global Inline Stores Strategy and serving as the Stores connection for our Women’s Consumer Team. We define and drive the end to end concept strategy and vision, driving business priorities and brand impact, ensuring we can deliver the best of Nike to our consumers in our physical retail environments around the globe.

As we launch new Women’s store proof of concepts in market, this role will be responsible for tracking the progress of our in-market pilots, identifying key learnings, and integrating these learnings into our go-forward Women’s speciality strategy. This role will entail close partnership with our in-market Geography teams as well as cross functional partners including retail design, merchandising, retail brand, visual merchansing, insights and others. This role will serve as the operational mission control for our Women’s speciality concept refinement and evolution.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Lead to join our Beaverton-based team to own the cross functional coordination and delivery of the Women’s speciality concept. This role will champion cross functional collaboration across Global and Geo stakeholders, and alignment through clear process management, structured meeting and communication cadences, and strong budget management. The candidate should have a passion for omnichannel retail and retail innovation, strong end-to-end project management and organizational skills, thrive in a fast paced environment, and the ability to build positive working relationships across a matrixed organization.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • 5+ years in a Functional Retail role or Retail Program Management/Operations.
  • Must align to Nike’s 4/1 work week, working Monday-Thursday at WHQ Beaverton based campus, Friday option to work from home.
  • Stores Concepts, Marketing, Retail Design Operations or Design Studio Management experience preferred.
  • High level understanding of common construction, architectural, design roles & responsibilities.
  • Collaboration and relationship management
  • Experience driving clarity across partners and in a matrixed or highly cross-functional environment
  • Passion for consumer experience, inquisitive nature and retail industry knowledge
  • Ability to track and understand across multiple functional deliverables
  • Driver/solutions oriented mentality with comfort and experience leading meetings and team strategy facilitation (support workshop development and planning)
  • Highly organized
  • Keynote and presentation experience; ability to pull ideas together in a compelling way
  • Ability to develop, socialize and storytell ideas, plans and strategies

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with cross-functional Global and Geo teams, serving as mission control for Women’s speciality concept development and delivery; ensuring collaboration across Concepts & Consumer, Marketing, Design, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Construction, Finance and Store Operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Facilitate the Concept Development process, from project planning to execution, and socialization across Global functions x Geos
  • Plan, lead and operationalize the Women’s speciality concept across the Consumer and Concepts team; identifying key integration points to enable the success of our collective team.
  • Manage concept development workback schedule and project dates & gates on Nike Stores tools & platforms (proficiency with Smartsheet and AirTable required).
  • Serve as source of truth for status for in marketing pilots and integrate learnings into the future state concept playbook
  • Own the development of the Women’s speciality concept playbook
  • Ability to identify risks and create mitigation plans across workstreams that are highly cross-functional
  • Responsible for proactive meeting agendas and prompt meeting recaps with key decisions, clear next steps.
  • Track and manage program and project budgets, PO’s, Vendor & Legal contracts.
