WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Lead, Go-to-market for North America Nike Stores, you will play an integral role in building and delivering the Nike Stores strategy through strengthening and driving the seasonal planning process. You will partner with the Sr Principal, NA Stores GTM (Go-to-market), Concept GM’s and their cross-functional teams to optimize how we work, integrate teams end-to-end and drive strategic execution.
We are seeking those with a deep operational orientation who possess direct and indirect team leadership experience. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of achieving results through process, building structures, roadmaps, and decision frameworks that outlast their direct involvement. Preferred candidates will think systemically, understanding how decisions ripple across teams and functions and anticipating downstream effects before they become problems. You approach ambiguous challenges from first principles, working backwards from the goal rather than forwards from convention. You question inherited processes and enjoy designing from scratch when needed. You engage credibly across domains outside your direct functional experience, asking the questions that surface what others miss.
You hold your perspective under pressure. You can push back on a senior leader constructively and leave the room with a stronger relationship. You are even-tempered by disposition and can productively manage ambiguity, competing agendas, and difficult personalities.
This role demands an effective communicator. You are adept at providing context and direction with teammates at all levels and instinctively know the right conversations to hold at the right time with the right people. The volume and range of communication in this role is high; you will be in constant motion across the leadership hierarchy, and the ability to communicate clearly and with purpose is essential to success.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The Lead, GTM for North America Nike Stores will partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic end-to-end execution:
- Operationalize how strategy becomes measurable marketplace reality by building roadmaps, creating efficient processes and effective tools.
- Proactively line up the work, the people, and the processes with context for why, how and when. Hold teams accountable for on-time and on standard delivery.
- Diagnose the root causes of execution gaps, whether structural, process-based, or behavioral, and design targeted interventions that address them at the source.
- Orchestrate cross-functional alignment + planning against key moments ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Move large, cross-functional groups toward a common outcome without direct authority, using logic, structure, and relationships as your primary tools to persuade stakeholders at all levels on decisions and deliverables that drive excellence.
- Create and leverage best practices, processes, and a culture of continual learning.
- Nurture healthy team culture: lead, direct, teach, coach.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will partner closely with Nike Store Concept GMs, Concept cross-functional teams, Sr Principal, NA Stores GTM, and cross-functionally across Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Field Leadership, and more. You will also work in partnership with your counterparts in NA Direct Biz Ops, and Digital Go to Market to align on process and practices to deliver the plan.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
- 10+ years professional experience delivering results in complex, matrixed organizations across multiple functions and/or business units
- Demonstrated ability to build and improve processes, frameworks, and operating structures that scale
- Proven track record of leading through influence without direct authority, moving cross-functional groups toward a shared outcome
- Systems thinker who can diagnose root causes, identify leverage points, and design interventions that address problems at the source
- Ability to manage ambiguity; you can operate effectively when the path is unclear and build the structure others need to move forward
- Exceptional facilitation and communication skills; you know how to run a room, drive alignment, and hold a position constructively
