WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

We’re looking for a Lead Information Security Automation Engineer within ITC CIS-CSE (Corporate Information Security). This role should have strong knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies, Cyber Security products, CI/CD Pipelines, Python scripting (Mandatory), API creation and integration, industry best practice, professional experience, collaboration and good judgment to develop creative solutions that help drive consistency and streamline security tools and solutions at Nike. This individual will work with a wide range of technologies, both cutting-edge and legacy, and coordinate with both technical and non-technical business teams.  The ideal candidate has a high energy with experience and interest in developing cloud native applications, APIs, and data pipelines. Tenacity, an open and curious mind, and desire to learn and understand is critical for success on this team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge on Cloud Security standards and principals, Must have hands on Python scripting language experience any additional scripting language experience will be an added advantage. Candidate should have experience in cyber Security products, work experience on CI/CD Pipelines, API creation and integration, industry best practice, professional experience, collaboration and good judgment to develop creative solutions that help drive consistency and streamline security tools and solutions. Who have handled a team to 3 to 4 members and lead them technically and could able to guide them. Who can write production‑quality Python, build robust data integrations (REST, CI/CD), and leverage data platforms (e.g., Databricks) while instrumenting model monitoring to prevent drift and bias. They challenge manual processes, document clearly, and communicate crisply to stakeholders and executives.

  • Candidate need to have 9–10+ years in Cloud security automation and Security engineering experience, knowledge on AI/ML application/cloud security will be an advantage.

  • Who have hands on coding experience in Python scripting language and any additional scrytping language experience would be an advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.

  • Certifications: AWS architect,  AWS/Azure Associate; AI/ML platform experience (e.g., SageMaker/Azure ML).

  • Proven expertise in Python, REST APIs, CI/CD, and AI/ML pipelines (feature engineering, model deployment/monitoring); tools intergaration who have worked on wide variety security automation projects and initiatives.

  • Should able to lead a team on 3 to 4 members and guide, coach them technically and provide feedback on code improvements when needed.

  • Have worked on complete process and workflow orchestration to streamline team efforts.

  • Secure DevOps principals and CI/CD pipelines utilizing Nike standard practices.

  • Leverage cloud technologies and serverless architectures while evaluating adherence to Nike platform expectations.

  • Develop, follow, and maintain accountability within the team for leading practices regarding software development tools, software quality, and automation development

  • Define solutions, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility.

  • Work with the team members, guide, mentor them technically. Provide feedback on code improvements when needed and maintain accountability as a Lead within the team.

  • Maintain code documentation, high-level diagrams, and complete team knowledge sharing sessions on completed projects.

  • Maintain and advance JIRA knowledge while leading scrum routines as the ITC lead for sprint ceremonies.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You build and automate end‑to‑end security automation projects through scripting languages, workflows that reduce risk. You turn detection gaps, noisy data, and manual processes into reliable, AI‑assisted pipelines. You partner across engineering, cloud, and security teams to accelerate remediation, improve signal quality, and strengthen Nike’s global security posture.

  • You will be working on cloud engineering projects and initiatives specifically on security products/tools.

  • Work on python related scripting language is required, other scripting languages are a plus.

  • Integrate tools and systems via API.

  • Utilize data lake tools such as Databricks for centralized data pipelining, integration with AI modules, and in-time security alerting.

  • Complete process and workflow orchestration to streamline team efforts.
