WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role partners with cross-functional teams driving the launch of the J30 greenfield logistics facility. Collaborators include Planning, Technology, Nike Direct commercial teams, and external vendors such as third-party logistics (3PL) providers, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) vendors, and transportation carriers. This role plays a critical role in aligning business and operational stakeholders to ensure a seamless distribution center activation.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative business professional with a proven track record in operational readiness for large-scale launches. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and designing and executing Week In the Life (WIL) simulations—real-world operational rehearsals in a live system environment.
This individual excels at translating business requirements into actionable test scenarios and driving alignment across diverse stakeholders. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, fostering clarity, and maintaining momentum in fast-paced, project driven settings. The ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively in both Japanese and English is essential.
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution center operations is highly valuved. A passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement rounds out the profile.
Minimum 5 to 6 years relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree
Experience leading UAT and operational readiness activities in logistics or supply chain projects
Ability to plan and execute WIL simulations, including scenario design, stakeholder coordination, and outcome validation
Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external vendors
Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional project environments
Strong oral and written communication skills (in both Japanese & English) including presentation and group discussion facilitation
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead critical business readiness efforts for the J30 distribution center launch, focusing on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Week In the Life (WIL) simulations. You will ensure operational scenarios are validated and the business is fully prepared for go-live.
- Lead the planning and execution of UAT to validate business requirements and operational workflows
- Design and manage WIL simulations, including scenario development, stakeholder coordination, and outcome evaluation
- Collaborate closely with the Test Coordinator to ensure smooth test execution and escalate defects for resolution as needed
- Facilitate alignment between business teams, Technology, and external vendors (e.g., 3PL, MHE, carriers)
- Identify and escalate readiness risks, and support mitigation planning
- Provide clear documentation and reporting on UAT and WIL outcomes
- Support go-live preparation and post-launch stabilization activities
