WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Lead, Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC), India will report directly to the Marketplace Supply Chain Director – Sales, SEA&I. This individual will collaborate closely with passionate internal colleagues across Marketplace Supply Chain, Logistics, Commercial (MPU), Finance, Planning, Marketing, and, on occasion, Legal & Compliance teams. Externally, the Lead will engage with customers and partners and will coordinate with Nike service providers as well as Nike Managed Partner (Mono and Multi-brand) businesses to manage the order book and supply chain for Nike Footwear, Apparel, and Equipment. The role also requires interaction with stakeholders throughout the SEA&I territory, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate for this position demonstrates a passion for Nike products, advanced supply chain expertise, omni-channel retail acumen, project management skills, and effective communication. They excel in building strong teams, process improvement, customer engagement, and data-driven decision making.

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field and at least 10 years of industry experience in supply chain operations.

  • Proven experience in building and leading effective teams across functions and organizational levels.

  • Advanced supply chain, wholesale, and digital fulfilment knowledge, with an omni-channel mindset.

  • Demonstrated project management and process improvement capabilities, including challenging the status quo.

  • Effective written and verbal communication, including strong presentation skills.

  • Customer-facing experience and the ability to develop productive internal and external relationships.

  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel) with the ability to interpret information for sound decision making.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will be part of the SEA&I Marketplace Supply Chain team, where your mission is to elevate services for Nike consumers. You will maximize inventory productivity by collaborating with the Nike India cross-functional team, retail partners, and local service providers, ensuring the right product reaches the right place at the right time. To that end, you’ll,

  • Act as the focal point and country lead for MSC within the India market.

  • Lead daily operations, making sure orderbook fulfilment and operational standards are consistently executed.

  • Drive seasonal execution with speed and agility, keeping the India marketplace inventory clean and healthy.

  • Communicate and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and business goals to the India MSC team, motivating them to deliver exceptional service.

  • Use business insights and demonstrate commercial acumen to identify growth opportunities and drive performance.

  • Lead and manage complex cross-functional supply chain projects that support the growth and expansion of Nike India’s business.

  • Drive the implementation of new supply chain connections and capabilities, focusing on expanding the retail network (both online and offline) and improving consumer experiences.

  • Partner with your team to identify continuous improvement, integrated operations, and process optimization opportunities.
