WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
 
This role reports to the Director, NSW (Nike Sportswear) Merchandising Korea and partners closely with fellow merchants across Korea and APLA (Asia Pacific Latin America) and cross-functional teams. You’ll collaborate with Korea/APLA Merchandising, Marketplace, Planning, and Brand Marketing teams.
 
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
 
We are seeking an Energy Merchant with a strong passion for the energy marketplace, consumers, and its culture. The ideal candidate demonstrates a consumer-oriented mindset, is closely connected to the sneaker and style community, and brings a sharp point of view on trends and cultural shifts. You will take a proactive, solutions-oriented approach in a fast-changing environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or related field.
  • Minimum +7 years of experience in merchandising or product management
  • Proficient in retail and digital metrics: sell-through, margin, pricing, and inventory
  • Excellent proficiency in English, with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to translate consumer, sales, trend, and marketplace insights into seasonal and long-term product and assortment strategies

 
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
 
You will develop consumer-led assortment plans for the NBHD (Neighborhood) & Energy marketplace, grounded in data-driven and trends insights. Your priority is to build a seasonal assortment plan that drives business growth and best serves our consumers.

  • Partner with Energy Merchants, and Marketplace Squad to build seasonal assortments
  • Manage multi-season planning and ensure consistency across assortments
  • Gather and apply consumer and marketplace insights
  • Collaborate with APLA Merchandising to align seasonal priorities
  • Prepare seasonal tools and support marketplace partners
  • Translate insights into strategic action plans
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture
