Lead Merchant Sportswear Footwear- NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Manage the development of seasonal merchandising plans to serve NIKE's consumers. Represent Lifestyle consumers by providing qualitative insights to the Product Creation teams, the Global Merchandising teams, and cross-functional partners. Lead management of merchandising KPI's through robust analysis of retail insights and performance. Collaborate with cross functional consumer group teams and Nike One Marketplace Merchandising to ensure merchandising strategies meet the Nike Brand strategy of the Nike regions. Drive productivity and profitability by shaping product adoption, pricing, flow, segmentation, and mix to deliver positive results for the business and team. Influence the creation a foundation that can incubate future consumers to support the trends, innovation, and brand by partnering across gender team to make sure key product opportunities are amplified. Direct across territory to make sure that brand narratives are landed in the market with one common goal. Lead to seasonal process and gates to maximize engagement across territory and functional team to drive the Sport Offense strategy. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a job offered or in a Business- related occupation. Position requires:
• Merchandising, product creation, and/or retail, in a vertical or wholesale environment
• Footwear, apparel and/or equipment merchandising experience
• Understanding of retail math and profit-based metrics
