WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Nike Direct Planning Lead, to manage KPI performance, internal Planning processes, and drive Nike Direct Planning strategy across Geographies. The successful candidate demonstrates curiosity, is proactive, and enjoys collaborating with others to influence decisions. They have an ability to communicate effectively to audiences across different levels, functions of the organization, and cultures. The person we’re looking for has a track record of leveraging analysis and storytelling skills to provide data-driven insights and drive action on key business decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Communicate storylines, partnering with Cross-Functional teams to contextualize business reporting, enabling faster cross-functional execution of business priorities.
- Support Strategic Planning efforts including CSR/AOP inputs, marketplace capacity planning, and new distribution mapping
- Partners with the Geo Sales Planning teams to aggregate insights and storytelling around key business results, aligning Geo-Global teams on future plans & forecasts.
- Translate consumer trends, traffic shifts, and MPU productivity into guidance for long-range demand signals to Sport and Geo Marketplace teams
- Lead Performance Management Reporting across Bookings, Futures, 6-Season Rolling Forecast, and POS performance
- Manage risk and opportunity across top franchises, informed by Partner forecasts, and create actionable insights to inform Assortment Intent
- Evolve and manage pre-season, in-season, and post seasonal Global EBP processes in-tandem with Geo counterparts to sustain success from visibility from Account to Geo grain
- Own programming cadence and facilitate weekly IBR forums to obsess performance, drive transparency and action
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This role is part of our Nike Direct Planning team within Global Planning and Operations. You will be working closely with Global Planning and Geo Nike Direct wholPlanning partners, as well as multiple cross-functional partners across Consumer x Marketplace Teams, Finance, Insights & Analytics, Marketplace Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Sales, among others.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, IF, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Charts, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manipulate data, identify trends, simplify complex data, visualize trade-offs, and make impactful recommendations grounded in data.
- Effective storytelling with data. Comfortability in being able to distill complex datasets into high level themes for executive audiences, to drive Nike’s strategic decision making matrix.
- Foundational retail knowledge including Stock & Sales and Gross-to-Net Metrics.
- Listens actively and makes insightful contributions to advance the conversation.
- Self-starter, motivated, and proactive in setting direction and making recommendations. Deals with ambiguity by creating clarity instead of waiting for others to provide direction.
- Takes initiative to proactively identify business opportunities and new processes, connecting the dots between details & execution to make strategic impact.
