About Our Team


The EBP Performance Operations & Insights team sits at the center of Enterprise Business Planning at Converse. We translate enterprise performance data into clear, actionable insights that power in‑season execution and long‑range planning. By delivering standardized reporting, scalable analytics, and automated planning capabilities, we enable leaders to align on a single view of performance while accounting for regional market nuance.

Within this team, Greater China (GC) represents one of Converse’s most complex and strategically important marketplaces, requiring deep local partnership and strong connection to global standards.

The Role

The Lead, Performance Operations & Insights – Greater China will be based in China and serve as the primary analytics partner for the GC business. This role owns the delivery of performance insights for GC, ensuring local decision‑making is powered by trusted data while remaining aligned to global EBP definitions, metrics, and reporting frameworks.

The role requires a strong balance of local market fluency and enterprise‑level thinking, navigating differences in calendars, data coverage, and operating models while representing GC within global planning and analytics forums.

What You’ll Do

GC Performance Insights & Reporting

  • Own the development and delivery of Greater China performance insights, including weekly pulses, marketplace scorecards, and executive‑level readouts.
  • Translate GC‑specific business questions into structured analytical views across demand, inventory, product, and marketplace performance.
  • Partner closely with GC Planning, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure insights are relevant, timely, and action‑oriented.

Planning Operations & Enablement

  • Support in‑season and seasonal planning decisions for GC, translating performance signals into implications for Open‑to‑Buy, inventory positioning, and trade‑offs.
  • Embed analytics into GC operating forums, helping leaders interpret trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Enable more automated, repeatable analytics to reduce manual reporting and improve speed to insight in‑market.

Global Alignment, Data Standards & Governance

  • Act as the GC representative within global EBP Performance Operations & Insights, ensuring local needs are understood while upholding global KPI definitions and reporting standards.
  • Navigate and clearly communicate China‑specific nuances (e.g., KPI differences, coverage constraints, security protocols) in global reporting.
  • Partner with Global Analytics and Technology teams to surface data quality issues, prioritize fixes, and improve trust in GC metrics.

Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as a trusted analytics thought partner to GC senior leaders.
  • Influence priorities across a shared global analytics roadmap while advocating for critical GC business needs.
  • Provide functional leadership and mentorship to analysts or regional partners supporting GC performance insights.

What You Bring

  • 6–10+ years of experience in analytics, planning, or performance management within retail, consumer, digital, or wholesale environments.
  • Strong understanding of planning concepts (demand, inventory, OTB, seasonality) and how performance insights drive decisions.
  • Experience operating in China or Greater China markets, with awareness of local data, calendar, and operating complexities.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear executive narratives.
  • Comfort working in a matrixed, global organization, balancing local market needs with enterprise alignment.
  • Advanced experience with analytics, BI, and reporting tools (e.g., SQL‑based platforms, Excel, dashboards).
