Lead Process Engineer NIKE. INC - Beaverton, OR. Research and develop products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. Performs scientific and technological investigation directed toward the acquisition of new knowledge. Research enlarging and systematizing the organizations knowledge base by understanding the limitations of technology and how to apply its capabilities. Develop proof -of-concept prototypes to ensure manufacturability. Devise methods and tools for modeling, analyzing and developing products and services to align with manufacturing quality and methods. Apply engineering knowledge and research towards the development and design of new products and processes. Identify and leverage potential to improve efficiencies for solutions and products; and performs work in support of brand plans. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

Must have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Process Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.

  • Injection Polymer science 

  • Process Engineering 

  • R&D Prototype Design Engineering 

  • 5.Quality Engineering 

  • Injection Mold Engineering & Design 

  • New Product Development 

  • Lean/Kaizen Methodology 

  • Mold Shop management 

  • Engineering CAD software & 3D modeling 

  • DOE (design of experiment) & statistical analysis
