WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a key member of the Innovation Portfolio and Integration (IPI) team, you will report to the Director of IPI Sport Innovation Studio (SIS) and Portfolio, Data & Process. You will work with cross-functional teams including Sport Studio Leads for Basketball, Jordan, Converse, NSW, Brand Impact Sports, Training, Sustainability and Running to support an end -to-end Nike Innovation portfolio creation and integration process. You will provide portfolio visualization support to manage, maintain and evolve the Nike Innovation holistic roadmap views enabling leadership visibility and informed decision making.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in ambiguity and brings deep expertise in business operations or a similar process focused background. They demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in collaborative environments and have a proven ability to drive team efficiency and effectiveness.
What you bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of directly relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information for business partners across all organizational levels and functional backgrounds.
- Experience acting in a supporting role as an expert resource to peers, the Nike Innovation IPI Portfolio, Data and Process team, and cross-functional Nike Innovation teams (Apparel, Space, Footwear, NSRL, ADCS).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and while navigating complex corporate structures.
- Active and contributing member of executive leadership team, facilitating conversations, driving alignment, ensuring execution on next steps, and capturing key information.
- Proven track record of simplifying and solving complex business challenges, using data to propose sound, actionable solutions.
- Deep experience working in Airtable, Miro, and Keynote (or similar tools.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Amplify the Sport Innovation Studio Sport Agendas
- Own the process to bring SIS Sport Agendas (products and resources from Nike Innovation to Inline) to life, ensuring rigor and precision in data and reporting.
- Own the intake process for inline product and enabler requests, routing through the SIS team to Nike Innovation leadership for decision-making.
- Serve as centralized “air traffic control” for team information, ensuring documentation and data remain accurate, organized and consistently updated.
- Support the creation and adherence to the Annual Operating Cadence (integrating CODE, NI and SIS models) in support of the SIS team and IPI teams.
- Partner with Nike Innovation Studio Lead, Engagement team, and SIS Sport Leads to continuously evolve the SIS space to host SIS led moments, key meetings, and Nike Innovation milestone sessions.
- Work closely with the Innovation Portfolio Integration Director to prioritize work for maximum impact and communicate priorities regularly to VP, SIS and SIS teammates.
Nike Innovation Holistic Portfolio management
- Visualize the Nike Innovation Portfolio (Win Now/Win Next)–
- Own the Nike Innovation Quarterly reporting and views required to support informed decision-making (including sport-specific views for multi-level stakeholders).
- Develop and evolve beautifully designed, intuitive reporting for quarterly reporting packages.
- Portfolio Alignment; Connector/interconnector across Nike Innovation –
- Deep understanding of the holistic NI portfolio with the ability to ensure accuracy and alignment across functional portfolios.
- In partnership with the IPI function, create and maintain portfolio-level reporting that increases visibility, simplifies complexity, and enables sound decision- making for quarterly reviews and key NI milestone moments.
