WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a Lead Product Manager in Supply Chain Planning Technology team, you will be responsible for working closely with Engineering teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., other Product Managers, Business leads, Domain leads, HR/Finance), and facilitating decision-making across priorities with Portfolio Management.  You will work with various business teams and with Nike customers directly to ensure successful B2B integration of Nike in the marketplace.

You should be skilled in product management, analytics, a structured and data-driven thinker and have excellent interpersonal skills.  Experience designing creative, quality technical products and enabling business capabilities and objectives through technology will be critical.  Additionally, you should be a skilled communicator with experience forming alliances and bringing together multiple stakeholders to execute on a common mission.

We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our EDI integration products underpinning Order Management, Fulfillment, and Partner Connectivity.

  • 8–12+ years in Product Management; 3+ years as a product lead/owner for EDI/B2B platforms.

  • Hands‑on experience with IBM Sterling EDI (setups, envelopes, agreements, routing, monitoring).

  • Deep expertise in STTM mappings (Sterling Transformation/Translation Map): design, versioning, testing, and optimization.

  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards  and key transaction sets

  • Familiarity with both EDIFACT and X12.

  • Proven track record shipping integration products with measurable improvements to SLAs, quality, and partner onboarding speed.

  • Experience defining canonical models and mapping frameworks between EDI and OMS/WMS/TMS/ERP systems.

  • Solid understanding of security, certificates, encryption, AS2/AS4, and compliance considerations.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; adept at translating technical constraints into business decisions.

Additional preferences are:

  • Experience with Order Management & Fulfillment domains and 3PL/carrier integrations.

  • Familiarity with API-led integration (REST), iPaaS/ESB, and hybrid EDI/API designs.

  • Exposure to eventing/observability and producing health metrics and reports Background in test automation for mappings and data validation frameworks.

  • Experience with self‑service partner onboarding and mapping template libraries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in computer science or combination of relevant education / experience

  • Experience in Order Management & Fulfillment domains

  • Experience with Retail B2B EDI integration

  • Background in agile methodologies and Jira experience a plus

  • Experience working with geographically distributed stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a Lead Product Manager you will define -

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define the vision and multi‑quarter product roadmap for EDI capabilities (onboarding, mapping, compliance, observability, resilience).

  • Prioritize features using data‑driven trade‑offs balancing customer SLAs, compliance, operational cost, and partner experience.

  • Build business cases (ROI, TCO) for EDI modernization—e.g., mapping template libraries, reusable canonical models, and self‑service onboarding.

Delivery & Execution

  • Lead the squad’s backlog (Epics, Features, Stories), sprint goals, and release plans; ensure high‑quality delivery with measurable outcomes.

  • Oversee STTM mapping design and governance (naming conventions, versioning, reuse, test coverage).

  • Partner with engineering on Sterling EDI configuration, trading partner setups, envelopes, agreements, and routing; ensure non‑functional requirements (scale, reliability, security) are built-in.

  • Interface directly with Nike Customers to gather ntegration requirements and assess feasibility given Nike existing capabilities and clearly communicate fit-gap assessment.

EDI Domain Leadership

  • Own standards for X12/EDIFACT (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 940, 945, 997/999, CONTRL) and related acknowledgment workflows.

  • Define and maintain canonical data models and mapping guidelines between EDI transactions and internal OMS/WMS/TMS/ERP schemas.

  • Drive error handling, reprocessing, alerts, and observability (dashboards, SLAs, partner scorecards).

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Collaborate with Order Management, Fulfillment Ops, Finance, Compliance, InfoSec, and external trading partners.

  • Enable faster partner onboarding via mapping accelerators, test harnesses, and playbooks; negotiate SLAs and cutover plans.

  • Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly to leadership; run governance rituals (steerco, design reviews)

Risk, Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, audit, security (encryption, certificates, non‑repudiation), and industry standards.

  • Establish QA strategy for mappings: unit tests, schema validation, end‑to‑end functional tests, and negative scenarios.

  • Drive incident response processes; maintain RTO/RPO targets and failover plans.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track KPIs: first‑pass yield, mapping defect rate, partner onboarding lead time, cycle time, ack rate time, SLA adherence, exceptions per 1,000 transactions, cost-per-transaction.

  • Use analytics to identify bottlenecks and drive root cause elimination and automation
