The annual base salary for this position ranges from $97,200.00 in our lowest geographic market to $217,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Overview:

As a Lead in Global Athlete & Sport Moments, you will play a critical role in the delivery and execution of the most pinnacle sport, athlete, and cultural moments around the world.  You will lean heavily into event production, vendor partnerships, and cross functional engagement to deliver world class, industry-defining moments for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Sport Moments: Lead and manage the event production of moments across: Football, Baseball, Basketball, Running, Global Football and more.  You will work with our sport leads to drive consistency in process, framework, and overall project management, ensuring we deliver experiences and services in a world-class way.
  • Event Production Process Excellence:You will drive process excellence, instilling event based technology platforms, tracking methods, and vendor partnership approaches to encourage efficient and optimal ways of working.
  • External Partnerships: You will lean heavily into our external partnerships, identifying key agency partners while also driving innovative approaches to execution across all moments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross functional groups to ensure Athlete & Sport Moments are aligned with Nike’s overall vision and goals. Act as a liaison with internal teams to maintain alignment through storytelling, look & feel, athlete-right services, and overall approach.   
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the Athlete & Sport Moments approach, utilizing quantitative and qualitative data, to measure operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement. Use data insights to optimize services, drive cost efficiencies, and enhance the athlete experience.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders (e.g., senior leadership, internal teams, and regional teammates) to provide updates on service operations, best practices and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, partnership management, event operations, and high profile clientele
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • Proven experience managing operational processes, scaling services, and driving driving an efficient operating model in a global or complex environment
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with utilizing data to measure success and communicate stories
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams
  • Experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing solutions that improve service quality and performance outcomes
  • A passion for serving Athlete’s and driving innovation

Preferred:

  • Direct event production experience is critical
  • Data-driven decision-making experience, with an understanding of metrics and KPIs for service and operational performance
  • Experience in the sports industry, working with a high profile clientele
  • Established relationships and extensive background in the events industry
