WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role will report to the Senior Director of Sports Marketing Tennis Global Partnership. You will have to work in this role with the Operations Team, the Buyers, the field reps, and the various product teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As part of our Global Tennis Sports Marketing team, the lead professional Sports Marketing Tennis FW and Apparel will execute on the strategic vision, being the center of excellence for all operations, apparel and footwear needs for the Global Sports Marketing Tennis dimension.

You will align to the vision and strategy of the Senior Director Global Partnership Tennis.The ideal candidate will be an inclusive, collaborative, organized, strategically minded, highly effective teammate and be able to operate and drive clarity in a dynamic environment through critical thinking and problem-solving.

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, sports marketing or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 5+ plus years proven experience in Operations, Sports Marketing, closely related field preferred
  • Proven ability to develop meaningful relationships that drive and achieve business objectives in conventional and innovative ways
  • True passion, understanding, and interest in the Tennis category
  • Critical thinking, Organized, ability to solve problems
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision making and communicate in a compelling manner to internal/external partners
  • Enterprise thinking, end-to-end business knowledge, and organizational and operational excellence
  • Familiarity with operations and sports marketing functions at NIKE preferred
  • Proficiency in SEC, SAP, MS Office, Keynote, and other Nike systems preferred

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Order book management for Tennis Assets portfolio, placing seasonal orders to service our assets
  • Pro-actively check coverage of future orders to ensure all product needs are met and arriving on time
  • Oversee end-to-end process of Grand Slams bag servicing  - establish clear deadlines and guidelines to the corresponding DC’s on how athletes’ bags need to be packed and when to be delivered
  • Partner with cross-functional internal partners to ensure our Tennis Athletes partnerships align to strategic product, business, and marketplace priorities, and Nike garners maximum value from our athlete partnerships.
  • Gather Key seasonal Products Information
  • Work closely with Athletes field Reps and the Product Teams on Athletes Wear Test
  • Backstock ordering for each Grand Slam Hospitality
  • Ensure that all products are compliant with the Tennis regulations.
  • Work with the apparel and footwear team on alignment for Nike swoosh visibility.
  • Product code readiness prior to buys
  • Scripting for external/internal photoshoots and special moments
  • Return Sales Orders from Grand Slams and Backstock Orders  ( “oversee product liquidation process across the different 3 geo’s we operate under : Na/EMEA/APLA
  • Closely collaborating with GO GTS business ops team on : Coverage, Ops generic matters, Locker, Reporting, Grand Slams Operations and other logistical projects
