As Running Field Rep – NIL & Grassroots, your focus will be to seek the athletes who will build Nike’s future roster of Global T&F stars. You will manage Nike’s growing NIL athlete portfolio through premium services and drive integration and alignment across key Brand and business dimensions and partners. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As Running Field Rep – NIL & Grassroots, we are looking for a go getter who is obsessed with running and helping the athletes!
- Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field. Will accept any suitablecombination of education, experience and training
- 5+ years industry experience highly preferred
- Established relationships & tenured experience in Running are highly preferred
- Excellent portfolio of accomplishments for leading complex & highly visible projects
- High level of understanding how to work alongside and manage high-profile relationships
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to present and communicate to senior leaders
- Innate ability to communicate and work across all geos, languages, and cultures while welcoming diversity of thought
- Proven track record of managing against a budget, creating tracking tools, and providing leadership updates on status
- Project development process knowledge (mainly Keynote, Excel, and Air Table)
- Up to 25% domestic travel required.
- This position is based from Nike WHQ – Beaverton, Oregon.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
In this role, you will continue the strategic growth and elevation of Nike Running’s NIL athlete portfolio and strategy through an unparallelled ability to seek, sign, and service the future stars of the sport.
- Lead Nike Elite Program
- In partnership with key Industry governing bodies, you will lead & grow Nike’s Elite Program to continue the development of holistic high school athlete performance.
- NIL Portfolio
- Own & Drive Athlete Seek & Sign process based on aligned Metrics & KPIs
- Assist & influence athlete integration plans with Brand and Business partners
- Nurture long-term relationships between the athletes and the company.
- Drive monthly athlete reviews in partnership with Field Reps and other necessary internal stakeholders
- Master the Fundamentals:
- Work in close partnership with VP Running, T&F Athlete Directors, Athlete Integration & Service teams.
- Continuously look to improve our recruiting and athlete servicing models to ensure Nike NIL athletes have a world class experience with the Nike Brand.
- Monthly review of strategic plans to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.
- Forecast and execute product buys for athlete seeding packs, seasonal product needs.
- Inventory management, order entry and delivery of all inline and promo product.
- Build Strong Relationships:
- Stay informed on current industry news and share information with team.
- Continue to build and maintain strong relationships with agents, coaches and other industry partners and experts. Attend external meetings where necessary to build on those relationships.
- Lead the integration and collaboration efforts with North America and APLA Running Brand and business teams a partners.
