This position is based at our beautiful worldwide campus in Beaverton, Oregon. Work week hours are Mondays-Thursdays in the office, with Fridays based in your home office (home office optional).

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Nike Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA) Lead, Real Estate Operations will elevate the real estate strategy that powers Nike’s connection to athletes* in 10 countries across the region. This role champions Nike’s bold and innovative real estate plan—one that fuels consumer access, unlocks marketplace potential, and builds the next generation of Nike Direct experiences. With APLA continuing to deliver strong growth and expand its footprint, this leader will help shape how Nike shows up in some of the world’s most dynamic and fast‑evolving retail environments.

A strategic, future‑focused mindset is essential. The Lead, Real Estate Operations will drive the real estate vision for the Nike Direct Stores portfolio and centrally orchestrate investment and lease actions across all six APLA territories (Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia & India, Pacific, Central & South America, and Mexico). Like a great coach setting the game plan, this leader will balance offense and defense—activating new opportunities while optimizing the existing fleet.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

  • Provide strategic real estate portfolio leadership, marketplace insight, and lease negotiation excellence to deliver accretive investments, divestitures, and lease savings that optimize the Nike Direct Stores portfolio
  • Lead and manage the territory and APLA strategic fleet reviews, Real Estate Committee (REC), and monthly post‑investment reviews—including the coordination, preparation, review, and presentation of recommendations or results
  • Manage the lease administration of the portfolio through critical data tracking, lease audits, and documentation management
  • Provide real estate market insights and financial model support for strategic initiatives relating to market rent/sales trends, retail co‑tenancy dynamics, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence
  • Set the standards for and influence work‑stream processes between lease acquisition, finance, lease administration, legal, and store construction
  • Act as a chief agent for change, connecting across the organization to drive opportunities through the real estate process, anticipating and solving challenges along the way
  • Develop impactful presentations to communicate real estate strategic plans and visions across Territory, Geography, and Global teams

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Cross‑functional partners include Lease Acquisition & Administration, Finance, Legal, Store Construction, Territory, Global, and Geo teams, along with key Leadership stakeholders. This role sits at the center of a highly collaborative ecosystem, aligning diverse perspectives to drive unified action and ensure Nike’s APLA real estate strategy supports long‑term, sustainable growth.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
  • At least 5 years of working experience, including experience in retail real estate, finance, portfolio management, strategic planning, or business development/consulting
  • Enterprise Leadership: experience working for a Fortune 500 / multinational consumer products company or navigating a highly matrixed organization
  • Strategic Mindset: proven ability to use strategic tools and frameworks to analyze complex strategic problems, develop clear recommendations, and present findings
  • Quantitative Background: proven ability to synthesize data and analyze research related to consumers, industries, and competitors
  • Problem-solver: ability to break down and be creative to negotiate through a successful solution
  • Relationship-focused: experience building relationships and interacting with all levels of leadership with internal and external partners
  • Project Leadership: ability to effectively scope and execute projects and to lead cross-functional teams
  • Cultural Intelligence: proven success working across cultures, adapting global business strategies, building cultural awareness in others, and engaging cultural humility
  • Communication: proven ability to craft and articulate compelling presentations with engaging storytelling for communicating strategies and recommendations
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; Airtable experience is nice-to-have
  • A passion for Nike – our product, our brand and our mission – and more generally for sports and fashion
  • Fluent in English
