WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Lead, Retail Brand Marketing Indonesia, will report to the Senior Director, Marketing – SEA&I and partner closely with Marketing and Marketplace teams across Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I) and Asia-Pacific Latin America (APLA). This role will collaborate with teammates across Nike to build more effective and efficient ways to inspire and connect with athletes*.
Specifically, this role will collaborate and partner with the following key internal and external stakeholders to build integrated retail marketing plans: Retail Brand, Visual Merchandising, EKIN, Brand Management, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Digital Marketing, Energy Marketing, Product & Merchandising, Commercial Sales, Stores and Marketplace Partners, Finance & Procurement, Agency & Production partners.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are searching for a Lead, Retail Brand Marketing Indonesia to join our Retail Marketing team. This is a critical role that will grow and shape the future of Sport & culture in the country’s retail marketplace and should have a good grasp of the local sports, sports communities, youth culture and the sneaker & fashion landscape. This role will be able to lead initiatives, can balance creativity with organization and discipline in a fast paced, ambiguous environment, have a strong digital acumen to keep pace with our fast-moving consumer.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent
7+ years of working experience in retail brand management, consumer marketing or related experience in fashion, design, sports, consumer brands.
A sharp eye for design, a passion for the art & science of retail marketing.
Genuine passion and knowledge of sports, sneaker/streetwear culture, youth culture trends and the Nike brand.
Ability to think strategically, lead initiatives, project teams and influence effectively.
Pro-active information-seeking skills, with the ability to balance creativity with organizational and procedural excellence in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Previous experience with managing budgets, agencies, design production teams.
A team-first mentality with ambition to coach and mentor others.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English and experience presenting to internal and external cross-functional and leadership teams.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As Lead, Retail Brand Marketing Indonesia, you will be responsible for driving the country’s retail brand offense across different channels. By collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and elevated brand expression across the retail landscape, focusing on priority campaigns, product launches, and sports moments, you'll help elevate how the Nike brand shows up in the marketplace and foster deeper connections with customers.
Oversee Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising ideation and execution in Nike’s stores (both Nike-only and multi-brand) and champion Nike brand standards and best in class retail presentation and experiences across all key retail channels.
Focus on key seasonal and always on retail marketing projects and programming projects and build holistic consumer journeys and experiences that accelerate brand engagement and business growth opportunities internally and externally for the Nike Brand.
Provide internal and external retail brand management, cross functional team and retail partner collaboration, functional & operational excellence, agency management, managing retail asset development and distribution across multiple channels.
Formulate new & disruptive ideas and lead on-ground retail activations and experiences in partnership with Nike’s retail partners.
Deliver retail marketing plans from ideation to execution and manage campaign progress measurement including recapping and de-briefing as well as managing day to day operations that includes agency management, budget management, internal systems, reporting, product ordering and seeding etc.
Gain insights from shopping consumers on buying behaviours connecting to sport & cultural trends.
Partner closely with Nike Direct Stores and Nike Marketplace Partners team to influence and reinforce retail concept marketing direction and brand standards for fleet expansion and elevation.
