Please note that is a hybrid role based out of our Nike Canada Downtown Toronto HQ (Mondays to Thursday on-site and Fridays remote )

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a curious, driven, and passionate professional who loves retail and has a deep understanding of marketing strategies such as Visual Merchandising (VM) and Retail Brand (RB) to deliver the ultimate consumer experience at retail. This individual should be able to demonstrate proven VM expertise, marketing elements and experiences, think strategically, and is a strong collaborator that can work seamlessly across functions. This requires them to be effective communicator and creative thought-partner who possesses the ability to influence decision-making. The ideal candidate loves working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, positive and collaborative team environment and is flexible on work hours.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

This role is responsible for developing and implementing premium and elevated consumer experiences at our Nike Store Partner retail doors (NSP) Canada by supporting retail brand leads and VM team. This role works collaboratively across the Nike brand and Retailors Sport to develop product journeys, presentation strategies, seasonal direction and VM standards that set the standard and create a distinct point of view for the Nike at retail.

You will work cross-functionally to align strategies and priorities and ensure store teams have the information and tools they need to enable flawless execution. Projects and deliverables you will work on include, but are not limited to:

  • VM presentation direction & tools for seasonal and brand moments.
  • Support in store VM during seasonal and initiative executions.
  • Deep partnership with Retail Brand and Retail Marketing team in the development of seasonal plans.
  • Some Seasonal Foundational OPS / in store needs.

  • Planning & Operations
  • Cross Functional teams – Sales / Merch / CS

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Possess a clear passion for the art and science of visual merchandising and retail brand marketing.
  • A love for team, collaboration and creative thinking.
  • Strong visual background with previous experience in a vertical retail environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally within a large team.
  • Can-do demeanor with the shown ability to adapt to changes in business needs or direction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Design or related field or 4-6 years' experience in Visual Merchandising in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Confident presentation and computer skills with experience using of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote, Mac proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel  – flexibility in hours and time in retail.
