WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
 

You’ll report to the Sales Director for Running Specialty & ACG and play a central role in standing up Nike’s Outdoor Specialty offense in North America. You’ll work closely with Sport Sales and the North America ACG team, connect internal functions with the marketplace, and lead our external sales agency to elevate Nike with outdoor specialty partners.

We’re looking for someone who truly enjoys working with retailers and knows how to fuel growth through strong relationships, sharp commercial instincts, and operational excellence. You know the specialty retail world instinctively and don’t need onboarding to understand how the business runs. You step in with confidence, quickly see where improvements can be made, and take action without waiting for direction. You bring energy, initiative, and the ability to forecast the business with clarity and accuracy.

  • Min 5+ year’s experience managing specialty retail partners and driving growth

  • 5+ years managing specialty retail partners and driving meaningful business growth

  • Experience in complex, fast‑moving commercial environments

  • Background leading or influencing large cross‑functional or partner teams

  • Hands‑on operator — comfortable owning the operational details that keep the business moving

  • Strong forecasting ability to anticipate demand, manage risk, and steer the business

  • Solid decision‑making with limited information and a proactive mindset for improving processes

  • Strong understanding of Gross‑to‑Net (GTN) levers and how to manage profitability

  • Skilled at simplifying complex topics and communicating clearly

  • Works independently while supporting and informing teammates

  • Ability to travel up to 35%

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training. 

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs

  • Valid driver’s license

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll help build and drive Nike’s Outdoor Specialty business in North America alongside —balancing strategic vision with hands‑on execution. You’ll connect cross‑functional teammates, shape how Nike shows up in this marketplace, and lead our external sales agency to deliver strong results.

  • You’ll partner closely with Sport Sales, the North America ACG team, Merch, DSM, Finance, Ops, Territory Sales, and our agency to align plans and move quickly

  • You’ll lead and support the external sales agency—setting direction, coaching, and ensuring Nike is represented consistently

  • You’ll own the daily business engine: forecasts, order book performance, shipping, pricing, and marketplace execution

  • You’ll manage operational essentials such as samples, shipping follow‑ups, and issue resolution

  • You’ll maintain disciplined G2N management to deliver sustainable, profitable growth

  • You’ll build strong, trust‑based relationships with outdoor specialty retailers

  • You’ll set the tone as a self‑starter and energy giver who brings momentum to the business
