WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Lead Partner Executive to steward the Jordan Brand business with Hibbett Sports at the buying level. In this role, you’ll serve as the brand’s voice and business driver — responsible for managing key franchises, leading assortments, and ensuring our product and storytelling reach consumers in a way that protects and elevates the Jordan Brand. You’ll combine strategic selling, operational excellence, and brand intuition to drive seasonal growth and deliver premium brand experiences across the marketplace.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will lead the seasonal offense for Jordan Brand within Hibbett Sports — connecting consumer insights, product strategy, and financial discipline to deliver premium brand experiences across all categories. You’ll partner cross-functionally to manage key franchises, drive allocation and assortment strategy, and ensure Jordan shows up with distinction across all touchpoints.
A typical day/week looks like:
- Lead the Go-to-Market process from seasonal strategy through order execution in partnership with Planning, Sport Category Sales Directors, and Marketplace Operations.
- Act as a steward of the brand, managing allocations and key franchises to balance growth, productivity, and overall marketplace health.
- Partner with Planning to align financial, inventory, and allocation plans that optimize sell-through and profitability.
- Collaborate with Hibbett’s buying team to influence assortments, share marketplace insights, and drive seasonal alignment.
- Leverage data, analytics, and marketplace trends to identify opportunities, inform future stratagies, and continuously elevate the consumer experience.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You’ll report to the Jordan Brand Director for Hibbett Sports and partner closely with Sport Category Sales Directors, Planning, Marketing, and Marketplace Operations to bring seasonal plans to life.
Externally, you’ll collaborate with Hibbett’s footwear and apparel buyers, planners, and leadership to align on assortments, key initiatives, and strategic priorities that drive both brand strength and business results.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Buying, Merchandising, or Account Management within the athletic or fashion industry.
- Proven ability to read and analyze retail metrics (sell-through, margin, inventory turns, WOS) to optimize sales and inventory productivity.
- Strong understanding of franchise management, product lifecycle, and allocation strategy.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with cross-functional partners and buyers.
- Passion for the Jordan Brand, its consumer, and its cultural legacy.
- Ability to balance brand stewardship with marketplace growth in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
