WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Merchandising, Planning, and MSC teams to execute the UK/Ireland Win Now strategy with marketplace partners in your channel. Reporting to the Sales Director SS/SG/Digital, your primary goal is to drive revenue, margin, and market share by implementing strategic initiatives and delivering the best product assortment for target consumers.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking an experienced Sales Representative who can manage complex, high-level commercial relationships with key partners for Nike in the UK & Ireland. This person is a strong team player and a positive influence on teammates, colleagues, and account counterparts.
This role brings sport, channel, and account strategies to life, complementing the UK/Ireland Marketplace vision. You’ll create and drive the right assortment for partners to contribute to net revenue growth and execute the Nike Consumer Code end-to-end on a seasonal basis, including showroom and sell-in excellence.
The ideal candidate has proven commercial experience, strong communication skills, substantial planning and merchandising expertise, strategic thinking, and a background in the sports industry.
Functional competencies:
- Extensive experience managing partner relationships at a buyer level.
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams (e.g., Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain).
- Experience with account planning and financial KPIs.
- Passion for and understanding of the sports industry and the UK/Ireland marketplace.
- Professional and confident presentation skills.
- Clear and concise written communication.
- Analytical mindset with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
In this role, you’ll be a relationship builder - within your team, across Nike’s functional matrix, and with key account stakeholders. You’ll bring a positive, collaborative mindset and play a key role in the Win Now strategy for marketplace partners in UK/Ireland.
- Adopt, complete, and drive seasonal assortments based on frameworks delivered by merchandising. Ensure seasonal product flow, optimize in-season trading, and manage replenishment to maximize partner results.
- Plan your partners’ business: develop forecasts and scenario plans using sport, consumer, partner, brand, and marketplace insights.
- Manage partners and the marketplace: deliver best-in-class presentation of stories and products (digital and brick & mortar) aligned with strategy.
- Build a premium, seamless consumer experience, scaling online-to-offline. Obsess over product launch journeys across partner platforms.
- Contribute to mutual growth and profitability by managing the end-to-end business.
- Drive complex commercial partnerships independently, solve problems proactively, and elevate team performance in dynamic environments.
- Collaborate on partner experiences at sell-in and co-own the end-to-end showroom experience. Work closely with office admin, Account Engagement, GTM teams, and cross-functional partners to deliver excellence.
- Actively contribute to all pillars of Ground Game.
- Ensure consistent representation and collaboration with partners/buyers in the market at retail (including visits, staff training, and competitor knowledge) within T&E budget.
