WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented leader to oversee Tools & Capabilities and Marketing Finance Management for APLA. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on operational excellence, implementation mastery, and cross-functional partnership. You will serve as an integral partner to global counterparts, shaping frameworks, optimizing tools, and empowering teams to execute Nike’s bold vision across APLA.

 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you will orchestrate processes and tools that enable APLA Marketing to deliver integrated plans and financial discipline. You’ll manage planning frameworks, streamline workflows, and ensure alignment across territories and global partners. Your work will create clarity, discipline, and speed for the APLA Marketing organization.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and partnership on Tools & Capabilities and Marketing Finance Management.

  • Translate marketing strategies into actionable operational and financial plans.

  • Develop and implement planning frameworks for seasonal and long-range initiatives.

  • Build, evolve, and implement tools and systems (budget trackers, project management platforms) to support marketing operations and finance.

  • Manage workflows for project portfolios, driving efficiencies and process optimization.

  • Lead operating models—meeting cadence, team resourcing, communication, and training.

  • Monitor and report on operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Director of Brand Planning & Operations and collaborate closely with APLA Marketing leadership team. You will partner with global counterparts and cross-functional stakeholders across Brand, Finance, and Territory teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, operations, and finance—enabling Nike’s storytelling at scale.

WHAT YOU BRING

·Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training. 

·A minimum of 6 years of direct relevant work experience in marketing operations, finance management, or strategic planning within a global, matrixed organization.

·Strong understanding of marketing workflows, campaign planning, and go-to-market processes.

·Experience building and scaling operational and financial systems, tools, and processes.

·Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

·Expertise in project management, resource planning, and budget oversight.

·Exceptional communication and training skills—comfortable influencing and driving alignment across diverse teams.

·Strategic thinking and analytical skills with a bias for action.

·Proficiency in planning and collaboration tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, Tableau, financial tracking systems).

·Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
