Lead Software Engineer–NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Develop, code, configure, test programs/systems and solutions problem in order to meet designed digital product specification and direction; review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and installing for a small- to mid-scale systems; provide leadership to the squad/work team, deliver a vision for work requirements for the quarter; design the scope of sprints within the quarter, commit to deliverables with customers and/or management; lead functional teams or large, cross-functional projects, and explain difficult concepts and influence others to adopt a different point of view; impact the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives, and manage projects or programs with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity; monitor and control costs of own work and may manage budgets for moderate-sized projects or programs; perform work in support of brand plans, and participate in initiatives, programs or products with moderate visibility. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.  
 
Experience must include: 

  • Software architecture and design, data structures and algorithms 

  • Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, NodeJS, Python, Groovy, Alteryx, Flex PLM, Windchill, and WebServices 

  • Svn, Git, Docker, Jenkins and Terraform 

  • Oracle, Mysql. MongoDB, Sql developer and Toad 

  • Automation Anywhere, NightwatchJS, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Cucumber, Jest and TestCafe 

  • AWS Cloud Formation – IAM, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, EventBridge and CloudWatch 

  • Splunk and NewRelic
