WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager within the Supply Chain Planning and Technology organization. The individual in this role works in close partnership with business users, engineering teams, product managers, and a variety of other cross-functional stakeholders. Through these collaborations, the role is responsible for ensuring that Blue Yonder Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions are designed and implemented to align with operational requirements, support scalability, and adhere to industry best practices.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect specializing in Blue Yonder Transportation Management System (TMS) to design, implement, and optimize transportation solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree or masters degree in supply chain and logistics management with expertise in Informtaion technology or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training and experience
Experience for over 10+ years of consulting and implementation experience in Blue Yonder TMS (mandatory).
Proven track record in solution architecture, design, and delivery for enterprise-level TMS implementations.
Strong understanding of supply chain transportation processes, including inbound, outbound, multimodal, and international logistics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-region, matrixed and multicultural environment.
Strong implementation and/or integration experience with Blue Yonder TMS and other established Transportation SaaS solutions.
Strong business and technology acumen and demonstrated ability to draw insights from information and convey complex information.
Ability to embrace changes and easily adopt new methods and practices required to meet changing business needs.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in analyzing and developing SQL queries, with a strong proficiency in working with transportation master and transactional data sets
Experience with API, XML, and integration frameworks.
Ability to research and recommend custom design to resolve business issues/problems
Blue Yonder TMS certification(s) preferred.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to individuals, small groups, and leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design of Blue Yonder TMS solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, enterprise architecture, and industrystandards.
Define integration architecture between BY TMS and ERP/Enterprise systems, carriers, and other external platforms.
Provide solution advisory during TMS implementations, upgrades, andenhancements.
Facilitate and lead business diagnostics, process analysis, and design workshops to define current and target solution states and prepare comprehensive solution design documentation.
Assist in the development of functional business process test scripts.
Support engineering team members in planning activities, including creating detailed stories/task plans and product deliverables.
Work independently to deliver projects to high standards.
Stay updated on the Blue Yonder product roadmap and transportation industry trends.
Serve as an escalation point and a subject matter expert to resolve business critical issues when needed.
Design and configure TMS technical solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Defines test scenarios based on business processes and may participate in integration testing when needed.
Conducts usability User Acceptance Tests (UAT) with business teams.
Program Increment Planning, Story Refinement and Estimation.
Spikes, Detailed Design, Build and Test.
Integration Build and E2E Tests.
Scrums And Associated Sprint Ceremonies.
Knowledge transfer to production support after each implementation.
Resolve escalated tickets, performance problems and create Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document on Severity level issues.
