we are looking for a passionate Engineering lead, to be a part of Nike’s new Marketing Advertising Technology organization. You will play a critical role, in developing Nike’s Customer Signals platform, which supports and promotes our products and provides a unique user experience to all of our customers in 166 countries globally. This role will play a critical part in our one billion dollars marketing plan which supports our direct-to-consumer initiative. This position requires technical curiosity and intuition for business along with strong engineering management skills. We are looking for someone to drive, own, and ship all aspects of large, multi-functional efforts and feature areas. You will partner with engineering teams throughout feature development from architecture, design, implementation, and validation
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Lead the design and development of Nike's Customer Signals Advertising Platform, focusing on tracking user behavior while ensuring privacy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, architects, and engineers to deliver the platform on schedule and on budget.
- Gather and simplify technical requirements, drive implementation, and contribute to feature development
- Innovate and architect scalable systems, while mentoring engineers and leading code reviews to ensure best engineering practices
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role is part of the Nike’s Customer Singnals squad within Marketing Advertising Technology space.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of lead experience and 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software engineering
- Proficient in Python, TypeScript, AWS stack, microservices architecture, domain-driven design, RESTful APIs, CI/CD implementation, and DevOps, with experience in distributed/cloud-based environments with high transaction volume.
- Experience with GDPR, privacy enforcement, and Marketing Advertising technology.
