Lead Software Engineer - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and installing for a small- to mid-scale systems. Provide integration solutions as part of the development and deployment of enterprise system solutions for the NIKE business. Provide engineering solutions for components like Order Management, Deliveries, Inventory Management, Finance, along with Demand and Supply planning teams. Collaborate with peers and functional experts to ensure developments work in a highly integrated environment. Assist in providing scope and cost estimates, and help drive engineering activities through deployment. Support other engineers with technical consulting and direction, problem solving, as well as write and review designs and technical specifications. Make sure all solutions adhere to existing guidelines and principals and assist in evolving processes in an effort to continuously improve. Design, develop, configure, and implement complex solutions and code. Lead blueprint (analysis/design phase) and implementation phases across different functional areas. Conduct performance monitoring, tuning, and analyze performance against benchmarks. Prepare and review test plans as well as conduct unit and integration testing. Collaborate with the product owner and assists with managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring prompt and complete customer service. Provide leadership to the squad/work team, delivering a vision for work requirements for the quarter. Design the scope of sprints within the quarter. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Information Systems and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or computer-related occupation.
